Hi everyone!
Today's card was inspired by the Color Washed Mood Board in the new Online Card Class,
"In the Mood"!
"In the Mood"!
I absolutely LOVE this mood board and was totally inspired.
The feathers, the colors, the water coloring and the cut apart sentiment on one of the photos.
Just awesome!
You will want to check out this class if you haven't already! It is awesome!
I used the ink smooshing technique on my main panel. Stamped the feather from PTI then ran it through my Big Shot using the Pointelle: Cover Up die from Lil' Inker Designs. The sentiment is also from PTI.
I am adding this to Lil Inker Designs June Monthly Meet up challenge.
Don't forget to leave a comment on this blog post for a chance to win a spot in the class.
Thank you for visiting and have a great day!
Stamps: Feather Finery, Building Blocks (PTI)
Ink: Dusty Concord, Peacock Feathers Distress inks, Versafine black
Paper: Watercolor, White, Black
Accessories: Cover up die: Pointelle (Lil Inker)

Gorgeous! The colors are so perfectly blended! Thanks for sharing the "how to" info! I likely would have done the cover up die thing AFTER the inking, likely leaving white edges visible ...and wondered why it didn't look as good as yours!
ReplyDeleteI am so digging every thing about this!
ReplyDeletethis is fabulous, what a lovely sentiment ♥
ReplyDeleteMy first thought was the music "In the Mood" by The Glenn Miller band. Lovely card colors and great sentiment.
ReplyDeleteThis is very cool, Kristie. So much to love on that mood board, so many things to be inspired by, and you've really hit a home run with this. Very cool. Love that cover plate; it just adds so much. Bev
ReplyDeleteAnother wonderful card Kristie - not only the colours, but the way you have used them on that wonderful background. The feather is the perfect foil for the heavy dots.
ReplyDeleteI have done the hop and am hoping....

Wow Kristie, I am loving this card! I just want to reach out and touch that feather, it is so cool looking and it looks like you could just smooth it with your fingers. I love that background and I love the colors in the background. Looks like you have done it again! lol Hugs, Brenda
