APOTHECARY INKS FROM CATHERINE POOLER DESIGNS COMING SOON!!!

Hi friends!  There are 4 new ink colors being release from Catherine Pooler Designs next week on April 6th!!  These are SPA ink colors and will be part of the Apothecary Collection.  Catherine revealed the new ink colors today on You tube.  Introducing Terracotta, Apricot, Ginger & Wintergreen!!!

This family of muted Spa colors is inspired by flowers, herbs, plants and earthy elements.  These rich, natural colors will bring you a fresh rainbow of muted tones to add to your existing collection of Spa Inks.

These colors are so gorgeous!  Here's my cards using these colors.

I used the Bold Bits & Patterns stamp set along with the Natural Flourishes stamp set and the Happy times 3 dies to create this set of birthday cards.

Here are photographs of each card .

These cards were so fun to create using the new spa ink colors.  Stay tuned for more cards from me using these colors and also the new collection of goodies.  Check out Catherine's Facebook and you tube channels for the full reveals.

BIRTHDAY CARDS USING PATTERNED PAPER

Hi friends!  I needed some more birthday cards for my stash so I pulled out the Mr. Rabbit's Garden paper pack and got to work.  I picked four patterns that I thought would stand well by themselves without any embellishments and these were the three I chose.  Of course, they would look great with added embellishments, but I kept these cards simple so the patterned paper was the star of the show.

I trimmed the paper down to 1 1/4 x 5 1/4 strips and adhered them to a card base.  I then white heat embossed a birthday sentiment onto a piece of black card stock and added that with dimensional adhesive.  I also added some sequins to each one.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

YOU'VE BEEN ON MY HEART

Hi friends!  Happy Sunday!  I've got a clean and simple card to share today using the butterfly from the Hops & Peeps stamp set and the Flower Power Background Stamp.  I stamped the background stamp using white ink on kraft card stock.  I trimmed it down to a strip a little bigger than the butterfly image.  I adhered that to my card and set it aside while I worked on the butterfly.

I stamped and colored the butterfly with Copics and then die cut it with the coordinating die.  I adhered that to the center of my card panel with dimensional adhesive.  I stamped a sentiment from the Thoughtful Phrases stamp set using Midnight ink and that finishes off this card.

HAPPY EASTER

Hi friends!  Happy Tuesday!  I love using die cuts or even cover plate dies to create a white on white textured background.  This time I used one of the Egg Hunt Dies from Catherine's Celebrate Spring release.  I die cut a bunch of them from white card stock and adhered them all over the front of my card.  I trimmed anything that hung off the edges.

I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of patterned paper die cut using the Scallops & Dots dies.  I added some Salt Lake City sequins and that finishes off this card.

HAPPY EASTER & SENDING LOVE!!!

Hi friends!  Happy Friday!  I've got a couple cards to share today using the Flower Power Background stamp & the Egg Hunt dies from Catherine's Celebrate Spring Collection.

I stamped the Flower Power Background stamp on kraft card stock using white pigment ink.  I set it aside to dry and stamped another one.  After the ink was dry, I die cut the solid egg from the center of the panel and sponged ink over top.  I left the center lighter so the sentiment would stand out more.

I added some black & white twine and some Salt Lake City sequins after stamping the sentiment.

Here's a second card using a different color on the egg and a different sentiment.

I love the color on this one.  This time I filled more of the egg and made the color darker around the edges.  I stamped and white heat embossed the sentiment on a strip of black card stock and adhered it to my egg.

I added sequins and black and white twine to this one too.

COLOR HUES #37 - YELLOW & PALE TEAL

Hi friends!  Welcome to my post for Color Hues Challenge #37!  This time we are challenging you to use Yellow & Pale Teal for your card or project.

I created two cards for this challenge because I couldn't decide which color I wanted the Round of Happy Die to be, so I created one in each color.   These cards use dies only, no stamping at all.

I used the This Way Up cover plate die to emboss my card front.  I love the little bit of texture this adds to these clean & simple cards.  I die cut the largest circle die from the This Way Round Dies and then the Round of Happy Die was cut from some teal card stock.  I layered a piece of yellow card stock behind the die cut circle so the color peeks through the pattern.

CELEBRATE SPRING - EGG HUNT DIES & NUVO DROPS

Hi friends!  I've got another card today using Nuvo drops to color in the Egg Hunt Dies from Catherine's Celebrate Spring Collection.

I stamped and clear heat embossed the Flower Power Background stamp on black card stock and then die cut it using the Scallops & Dots dies.  I die cut the Egg Hunt die 4 times and glued it together to create some walls for the Nuvo drops.  I filled in one color for the petals and another color for the background.

I added the adorable bunny from the Hops & Peeps stamp set.  I decided to put a sentiment on the inside of this card.
