CELEBRATE SPRING COLLECTION

Hi everyone!  The newest Collection from Catherine Pooler Designs, Celebrate Spring, will be available next week!  StampNation members get to order early on March 8th.  General ordering opens on March 9th.

I'm sharing a couple cards today using the Flower Power Background stamp in the Egg-cellent Easter Bundle.

I started this card by stamping the Flower Power background stamp in Midnight and then quickly applied clear embossing powder over top and heat set.  I colored in the different sections of the design using my Copic Markers.  You could also use CP inks and a blender pen to do this.

I used the Stitched Squares Dies & Circles dies to create the window.

I adhered the colored background to the window opening using dimensional adhesive and adhered that to my card front.  I stamped the sentiment from the Natural Flourishes stamp set onto a strip of white card stock and adhered that across the window.  Some Crater Lake sequins finish off this card.

I had some of the background piece left over so I created this card.

I used my circle dies to cut out a piece of the background and colored it with Copics.  I then die cut another circle from black card stock and layered that behind the colored circle.  I used the same sentiment and stamped it on a Sentiment Banner die.  Also added some Crater Lake sequins and some black & white twine.

This is such a fun background stamp, that can be used for lots of different cards.

  1. I loved both versions of your cards. The pattern is very beautiful and looks so charming when it is colored. Your CAS design really let them shine. Thank you so much for joining us at the Seize the Birthday challenge!

  2. Kristie the two coloured pieces look totally different as the sentiment obstructs part of the design in to first one, so when it is unimpeded in the second, it looks so different. Fabulous cards.
