RAINBOW CAKE

Hi friends!  Happy Wednesday!  We are celebrating StampNation's 10th birthday.  Technically it's not until January, but the team at Catherine Pooler Designs likes to celebrate.  We are celebrating with a fun Birthday Bundle of stamps and dies.

Ten years ago Catherine created a place for stampers to gather.  This place is a world-wide online community called StampNation.  Stampers, scrapbookers, crafters from all over the world gather here to share ideas in a fun, caring and friendly environment.  I have been a member since the beginning.

My card uses the stamps and dies in the bundle.  I created a fun rainbow cake by ink blending Catherine's inks onto a scrap piece of card stock and then die cutting the cake layers so they would line up in rainbow order.  I used white frosting as accents and the squiggly lines on the center cake layer was embossed using the new amazing Disco Ball Embossing glitter.

See the burst behind the candle?!  I masked off one of the bursts from the new Dotted Bursts background stamp and stamped and heat embossed it using the same Disco Ball Embossing glitter that is on the middle cake layer.  I love this embossing glitter!!!  I wish the photos captured the sparkle.

I stamped and white heat embossed the sentiment onto a piece of black card stock and attached that with dimensional adhesive to the card base.

Check out the StampNation member price on this fun bundle!

The Birthday Bundle includes:

- Birthday Cake Remix Stamp Set

- Birthday Cake Remix Dies

- Party Like It's Stamp Set

- Dotted Bursts Background Stamp

StampNation Membership is as low as $8.25/month, so it's a bit of a No-Brainer to try it out! There is no commitment beyond the membership you purchase and you can cancel before your next billing cycle if you decide the site isn't for you.

CELEBRATING STAMPNATION'S 10TH BIRTHDAY

Hi Friends!!!  StampNation is turning 10 in just a few short days!  And there is a mini-release available with some cute, new stamps that can be used to celebrate all the things!  StampNation members can order tomorrow and then the new products will be on the site for everyone on Wednesday!

Here's a sneak peek of a colorful card with some of the new products from Catherine Pooler Designs!

And...if you haven't heard 8 new inks are being released on January 13th! :)

How fun is this wonky cake?!  I just love it and it is the perfect size for A2 cards.  I stamped and die cut the pieces and added the fun dots on the top layer, the squiggly lines on the second layer and stars on the third layer.

I stamped the new amazing Dotted Bursts Background stamp using Midnight ink on my card base.  I love the fun detail this stamp adds.  The sentiment is from the previously released Happy Birthday Many Ways stamp set.  Another one of my go to stamp sets that are a must have in your stash.

THANK YOU

Hi friends!  Happy Monday!  I hope you all had a great Christmas with your families.  I've got a fun thank you card to share today using the Classy Trims & the Sincere Thanks stamp sets.  The Sincere Thanks stamp set is definitely a must have in your stash.  It has so many perfect sentiments.

I stamped the sentiment first using midnight ink and then I was able to space out the top and bottom rainbow images.  I colored the image using Copic markers.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Hi friends!  Merry Christmas eve!  I hope you are all doing well and are staying healthy.  I've got a clean & simple slimline Christmas card to share today.  I used the Classy Trims stamp set and the Post This slimline dies.

I stamped and white heat embossed the sprig stamp from the Classy Trims stamp set in the circles, alternating the stamp so it wasn't in the same spot in each circle.  I then white heat embossed the sentiment onto a strip of red card stock and adhered it to the center of the card.  Some red & white twine finish it off.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

EMBOSS RESIST USING STRING LIGHTS BACKGROUND STAMP

Hi friends!  A couple more Christmas cards to share today.  These use the String Lights background stamp from Catherine Pooler and some fun sentiments from Taylored Expressions.

I stamped and white heat embossed the background stamp onto white card stock.  I then used my blending brushes to blend the colors onto the panel.  The stamped images resist the ink and stay white.  Love this technique.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

FALALALALALALALALA

Hi friends!  Happy Tuesday!  I've got another Christmas card to share with you all today using the Caroling Sentiments stamp set and the Dotted Zig Zag Cover plate die.

I stamped and white heat embossed the tree sentiment and used shades of green to color it using the emboss resist technique.

I die cut the dotted zig zag cover plate die and die some ink blending with the same green inks just on the bottom half of the panel fading to white at the top.  I love the ombre greens on the tree and the cover plate panel.

MAKING SPIRITS BRIGHT

Hi friends!  I've got another simple, easy to mass produce Christmas card to share with you today.  I stamped the Sweater Weather background stamp using white pigment ink onto kraft cardstock.  I used my MISTI and stamped a couple of times to get a super crisp white image.

I then stamped and die cut the church from the Alpine Village stamp set & adhered it to the stamped panel with dimensional adhesive.  The sentiment is from Taylored Expressions.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Hi friends!  Happy Snowy Thursday from the Northwest corner of Connecticut.  We are getting a huge snowstorm today.  I'm going to be staying inside safe and warm creating some cards.  I've already sent all my Christmas cards out but am working ahead on next years cards.

These cards were created using the Sweetest Season stamp set & the new Deck the Halls & Cranberry Fizz inks from Catherine Pooler.  I also added in Something Borrowed.

This one uses the peppermint candy and a different layout.  Both are pretty simple cards to create.

COLOR HUES #8 - GREEN & BLUE

Hi friends, and welcome to my post for Color Hues Challenge #8! This time we are challenging you to use Blue & Green for your card or project.

I used the fun Build-a-Bunting stamp set by Catherine Pooler to create a winter birthday card.  I stamped and die cut a bunch of the banners in blue & green.  I then stamped using a darker shade of blue & green onto each banner using a small snowflake & burst.

The sentiment is from the Chillin' Snowflakes stamp set.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

MERRY CHRISTMAS USING CLASSY TRIMS

Hi friends!  Happy Tuesday!  I hope you are all doing well.  I'm sure most of you have already sent your Christmas cards out for this year, but you can always use this idea for next years.  Why not continue creating and have a stash ready for next year.  This is what I try to do so I'm not scrambling in Oct./Nov. to get mine all done.

The floral sway in the classy trims reminded me a bit of a Christmas sway, so I paired it with the Merry Christmas die.  Just stamped and silver heat embossed the image on the top and bottom of my card piece.

The last one was colored using Copic markers.  Pretty simple cards to put together and the silver embossing adds a bit of extra detail.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY WISHES

Hi friends!  Happy Saturday!  I've got a masculine slimline birthday card to share with you all today using the Classy Trims & All Around wishes stamp sets.  This geometric/prism design is great for masculine cards.  I started my card by die cutting the stitched rectangle from the Essentials Slimline die set.  I then stamped one of the images on the bottom right and then again on the bottom left using a light blue ink at the top and a darker blue on the bottom.  I love the ombre look this gives.

After stamping onto my card stock piece I stamped the image onto some post it tape twice and fussy cut them out so I could use them to mask the two stamped images on my card stock piece.  I then covered the images and stamped the third image in the center.  I love that it looks continuous across the whole card when it is a short stamp.

I then stamped the sentiment above the stamped prisms and adhered this to a piece of black card stock slightly bigger than my white stamped and die cut piece and then adhered this to a white card base.

CLASSY TRIMS BIRTHDAY

Hi friends!  Happy Thursday!  I hope you are all doing well.  I've got a couple more cards to share with you today using the new Beautiful New Year collection released yesterday from Catherine Pooler.  I used the Classy Trims stamp set along the edge of my card piece and colored in the rainbow rays using Zig Clean Brush Markers.

The sentiment was white heat embossed onto black card stock and is from Happy Birthday Many Ways stamp set.  One of my favorite sentiment stamp sets.

Here is another one using the Classy Trims rainbow.

I just changed the orientation and instead of coloring each bow ray, I sponged in rainbow order across the stamped bows.  I did a bit of masking to create the image all the way across the panel.

Another sentiment from the Happy Birthday Many Ways stamp set & some Crater Lake Sequins for some sparkle!
