Clean & Simple Birthday

Hi everyone!  I have a couple more CAS birthday cards to share with you today using the Harleen Stencil.

A feminine one....

and a masculine one....

I can think of a few more color combos to use with this design.  I think I need to get this stencil out again and play some more.  The sentiment is from the Young at Heart stamp set.

Hmm, just seeing these designs made me think of Christmas cards too.  I think I will make some using Christmas colors and a sentiment.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

Harleen Stencil Birthday Cards

Hi everyone!  Happy Saturday!  I have been running quite low on birthday cards.  I was looking through my stash and came across the amazing Harleen stencil.  I knew I had to pull it out and play. Here are a couple cards I created!

Rainbow, yes please!  This one is more feminine, where my next one is more masculine.

I used blues in an ombre order.  Starting with It's a Boy at the top, Fiesta Blue in the middle and Something Borrowed at the bottom.  The sentiment on the rainbow card is from Bring on the Cake in the Young at Heart Stamp of Approval collection and the sentiment on the ombre blue card is from the Young at Heart stamp set also in the Young at Heart SOA!

I am adding the top one over at Seize the Birthday: no topping for me.

Happy Birthday to you

Hi everyone!  Looks like my mojo has returned!  Yay!!!  I was able to actually create some cards and not one ended up in the trash.  That is a good day!

All three of my cards today feature Tilly's Magic Garden stamp set illustrated by Lydia Evans for Catherine Pooler Designs.  The sentiment is from Young at Heart.

I had fun playing around with different color combos.  This one is Bellini with Orange Twist and Mint to Be and Aquatini.  I had to use Black Jack & Midnight for the leaves.

I think this one is my favorite of the three.  Do you have a favorite?

I used Bellini, Orange Twist, It's a Boy and Fiesta Blue. I have to tell you just how easy these were to create.  I first drew a light pencil line onto my card base. I then used one of Catherine's new acrylic blocks, which have grid lines on them, to stamp the flowers in a perfect line.  I just used one of the lines on the block and lined it up with my pencil line and voila, perfect stamping!

I am playing along over at Addicted to CAS: Florals.

New Release at CP Designs- Hello Tilly's Magic Garden

Hi everyone!  Have you seen the newest release over at Catherine Pooler Designs?  I am so excited to share some peeks with you today!

Did you hear Catherine announced the newest CP Designs stamp set illustrator yesterday?  It's none other than the amazing Lydia Evans!!!!  I would encourage you to go check out her blog, she is an awesome designer!

Lydia's first set, Tilly's Magic Garden is a two step stamping floral set!  This set is going to be so amazing to stamp using Catherine's ink colors.

I have been on vacation and the new release goodies were in my mail box when I arrived home.  My mojo has taken a bit of a break, but I was able to create this card with Lydia's new set.

I used the sentiment and one of the leaves to create my card.  I love thinking outside the box and using stamp sets in different ways.  I was able to show off a lot of Catherine's bright ink colors on this card.

Not only did Catherine release this stamp set, but she also released a new section in the shop called "Craft Room Essentials".  You will find stencils, acrylic blocks, Glass bead glitter gel, whipped spackle, cardstock, adhesive and much more.

A few more new products being released in the store are the Hello die, Turkish stencil and neutral colored cardstock.  You can purchase each product individually or purchase them all with just one click. Easy peasy, right?

I am hoping my mojo returns soon, so I can share some more projects with you using this new release!  Happy shopping!

Rainbow leaves

Hi everyone!  I was browsing Pinterest the other day and came across this pin HERE!  I was immediately inspired to create a card.  I grabbed my Leaf Motifs stamp set and got to work.

So fun, right?  I used Catherine Pooler inks on the leaf stamp.  I thought the sentiment would look perfect embossed in white on black card stock and peeking through a circle die cut.  Adding some sequins and some black and white twine finishes off my card.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

Fall Birthday card

Hi everyone!  I have a fun fall birthday card to share with you all today using Color Burst powders.

I started my card by sprinkling three different color burst powders onto a piece of water colored card stock.  I then spritzed with water to get the colors moving and blending.  I didn't spray too much water to completely blend the colors and I love how it turned out.  I then die cut my colored paper with Papertrey Ink's Mix & Mat Pinked Edge die.  I love how the leaves pop against the black background.

I will add this over at Seize the Birthday: Anything goes.  No topping for me this week, but I just may play along with these colors at some point.  :)
