HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Hi friends!  Happy Monday!  I've got a fun birthday card to share with you all today inspired by the sketch over at CAS(E) this sketch!  It's a clean & simple one that I love!!!!  I stamped the party fans in different colors and then white heat embossed the sentiment onto a strip of black card stock.

I love the look of these party fans.  So fun and perfect for a birthday celebration!

EVERY DAY IS A GIFT

Hi friends!  Happy Saturday!  I've got another card to share with you all today using the Hey Pumpkin stamp set and the Fall Pick-n-Mix Patterned Paper.  I love that Catherine's papers make color coordination and choosing colors easy.  I chose colors from the paper to stamp the adorable pumpkins.

I used the Skyscape Mini cover plate die to create the fun frame.  The frame is popped up using dimensional adhesive.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

RAINBOW HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Hi friends!  Happy Friday!  I hope you are all well and healthy!  Did you see my slimline card yesterday using the new Rainbow Slimline Die from Catherine Pooler?  (View that card here) On that card I used the rainbows in the corners and told you I created another card using the third rainbow.  Here is that card.

I love the versatility of this Rainbow Slimline Die and that you can use it to create regular sized cards if you are not into the slimline ones.  Win, Win in my book.

I used the Happy Birthday Many Ways stamp set to stamp the sentiment and the Postage stamp die to cut my layer.  I love the stitching on the edge!

CELEBRATE

Hi friends!  Happy Thursday!  I'm wondering how many of you have jumped on the slimline card making trend?  I know I sure have.  It's such a fun and different idea to keep our creative juices flowing and it's always good to have new things to be inspired by.  I love these dies that Catherine came out with.  I only have the Rainbow one, but I put in my order yesterday for the other dies and the stencils.  I'm so excited to get them and start creating with them.

Here's another card using the Rainbow Slimline Die.

On this card I only used the rainbows in the corner.  The middle rainbow has been used on another card that I will share soon.  I love that you can use this die in quite a few different ways.  I die cut the bows from white card stock and used my finger blenders to blend the colors on each one.  I used the die cut piece to lay over top to get perfect placement of the bows in each corner.  It's like putting a puzzle together and I love puzzles.

I used the celebrate die in black for my sentiment.  I love that it fits perfectly in between the two rainbows.  The paper down the side is from the Black Tie Gala paper pack.  I had to order more of that yesterday too, I am running low!  It's a great pack and I use it a lot.  I added some crater lake sequins for some sparkle.

SLIMLINE DIES AVAILABLE TODAY FROM CATHERINE POOLER DESIGNS!!!!

Hi friends!  Happy Wednesday!  The 3 new Slimline Dies are available today at Noon EST for purchase in Catherine's shop!  I had to create a shaker card using this die!  I love how fun this is.   There is just enough room around the edge and between the bows of the rainbows for your foam tape strips!  I was so excited that I could put different colored sequins in each bow of the rainbow!  This was definitely fiddly, but oh so worth it!

The sentiment is from the So Happy Sentiments stamp set.  I have a few more cards to share with you using this fun die.  Stay tuned!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Before you go, I wanted to share a card using a new Slimline die from Catherine Pooler that will be available tomorrow, August, 26th in her shop HERE!!!  She has 3 NEW Slimline Dies & 2 NEW Slimline Stencils being released!
Today's card shows one of three new slimline dies coming!  I was SO excited to be able to play with the new Rainbow Slimline Die!  How awesome is this?!!  I used the die to create a stencil and did a lot of masking to create my rainbows on the front of my card.  While I had the masks on each section, I found some of the small stamps that Catherine is so great about adding to all of her stamp sets to stamp some cool designs onto each bow.
I used a cluster of dots from the So Happy Sentiments stamp set, the triangle from the Zen Feather stamp set, the star from the Happy Birthday Sentiments set and the big dot from For Everything stamp set.  The sentiment is die cut from black card stock and glued onto the card.  I added some Crater Lake Sequins for some bling.  I have lots more cards using this slimline die so you will be seeing more in the coming days.  These Slimline Dies & Stencils go into Catherine's shop on Wednesday, August 26th!
Thank you for visiting and have a great day!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY
Hi friends!  Happy Monday!  I'm back today with another card using up the stripes of paper I created for this card.  I mentioned on that blog post that I had lots of strips of colored paper left to make some more cards.  Here is another card I created.  This time I stamped the gorgeous Rondi's Window background stamp over top the stripes and used clear embossing powder.
I followed the sketch over at CAS(E) this Sketch!   I am always in need of birthday card, so a happy birthday sentiment from Happy Birthday Many Ways was in order and perfect for my design.
CONGRATULATIONS
Hi friends!  Happy Saturday!  I have another adorable baby card to share with you all today using the Dots & Flowers Border stamp and the zebra from the Born to Be Wild stamp set.  I am still loving this cute zebra!  It looks great paired with the flowers in the background.
The congratulations sentiment is from the Build-a-bunting stamp set.  The black & white diagonal stripes paper is from My Favorite Things.  I love that the stripes mimic the stripes on the zebra.
BUILD-A-BUNTING BIRTHDAY & SN CHALLENGE PEEK!
Hi friends!  Happy Friday!  I hope you have all had a great week and are healthy and well.  My card today was inspired by the sketch over at CAS(E) this Sketch!  I love a good sketch, especially when an idea pops into your head and I am able to create right away.  I used the Build-a-Bunting stamp set by Catherine.  I love all the images in this set and have ideas to create more cards using this sketch and stamp set.
I had to use rainbow colors, but just think of all the color combos that could be used with this set!!!  It's such a cool 2 step stamp.  I stamped the light color first and then used the darker color over top for the details.  LOVE it!!!
HEY PUMPKIN!
Hi friends!  Happy Thursday!  I've got another card to share with you all today using the Hey Pumpkin stamp set from Catherine Pooler.  If you wanted this stamp set and it was out of stock, I've got good news, it's back in stock now.  I started my card by doing some masking and ink blending.  I used Limoncello, Party Dress and Flirty Fuchsia.  After I achieved the blend I wanted and was happy with it, I removed the masking tape and stamped the pumpkins and sentiment using Midnight ink.
I added some black and white twine to the top of the card and that finished off this one layer card.  I love the contrast of the colors with the black stamped images.
YOU'RE A REEL CATCH
Hi friends!  Happy Sunday!  When I got the Fly Daddy stamp set, I knew I wanted to stamp the fish in rainbow colors on my card.  Here is that card.  I placed the two fish images in my MISTI stamping tool, started at the top using Rockin' Red, Orange Peel, Limoncello, Lime Rickey & last Fiesta Blue.
I moved my card stock in my MISTI tool and kept the stamps in place.  I stamped and silver heat embossed the sentiment onto a die cut circle out of vellum and adhered that to my card.  This is a super simple card to create.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY & A SALE!!!
Hi friends!  Happy Saturday!  I hope you are all doing well and staying healthy.  I've got a fun rainbow balloon birthday card to share with you all today using the Oval Balloon stencil by Catherine Pooler.  I used my blending brushes over the stencil to create the row of rainbow balloons.  I didn't mind about overlap because it just added dimension to the balloons.
I added a bit more ink towards the bottoms of the balloons for more dimension.  I love that gradient look.  I stamped the bows and strings using gold pigment ink and matted the panel using a gold glimmer paper.  The sentiment is from the Happy Birthday Many Ways stamp set.  I love all the different fonts in this set.
