RIC #36

Hi friends.  Today's card was inspired by the Runway challenge.  Here is the inspiration photo:

I pulled my inspiration from her sweater with the fun triangles.  I used one of the triangles in Trendy Triangles from Fresh Squeezed Stamps.  I stamped onto Confetti white cardstock in Blushing Bride and Basic Gray.  The ribbon reminded me of her balloony pants.  :)

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

Ink:  Blushing Bride, Basic Gray, True Black (PTI)
Stamps:  Trendy Triangles (FSS), Sentiment Sampler (Paper Smooches)

CASology, Retro Sketches & ATCAS #12

Hi friends.  I am sharing my card today for Retro Sketches, Addicted to CAS, & CASology.  I love hexagons, so I just had to play along with Casology's cue word: Hexagon.  I used Trendy Triangles from FSS to create the rainbow hexagon.   I then die cut a hexagon out of the white and adhered it on dimensionals over the stamped image.  It only took me a couple of practice tries to get the triangles stamped just right.   :)  Here is the sketch for Retro Sketches:

Ink:  Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Lucky Limeade, Tempting Turquoise, Rich Razzleberry & Versafine black

His & Hers Day 2 homework

Hi friends.  Real quick post for me today.  Just sharing my homework for Day 2 His & Hers online card class.

Her card:

His card:

I used Cristina's technique of coloring vellum.  She colored her vellum with Copics and I have not got on that band wagon (yet).  I colored my vellum with Stampin' Up! markers and it seemed to work fine.  I am thinking now, looking at these cards I could have duplicated the Her card into a His card by just changing the colored vellum.  Hmmm!   I think the sentiment on the Her card would work ok for a male card as well.  It is not too fancy.  I would just change out the gold sequins for something different.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

I have been cleaning out my stamp room and have listed some Retired Stampin' Up! Stamp sets here.
