Joy to the World

Hi everyone!  I'm back today sharing a card inspired by this card and one of Elizabeth's cards over at Muse: Christmas Visions.

I love these snowflakes and in pink? Yes, please!!  The font on the sentiment is one of my favorites too!  As you can see I was inspired by Elizabeth's snowflake card.  I focused on the colors, snowflakes and Joy sentiment.

Here is another one in purple and less snowflakes.

I will add this one over at Christmas Card Challenge.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

Hello

Hi everyone!  I am sharing a card I made a while ago and never posted it.  OOPS!!!  I used the Christmas Carols stamp set by CAS-ual Fridays to create the background and then used the Hello die for the sentiment.  Simple but pretty!

Sending Birthday Wishes

Hi everyone!  I was browsing pinterest the other day and was inspired by some cards I saw over there.  I used Eva's Favorite Flowers in rainbow colors to stamp around the tag die from the Winterhaven Stamp of Approval collection.  I used one of my favorite birthday sentiments from the Enchanted Garden stamp set.

I can see creating this same card using snowflakes in place of the flowers and adding a Holiday sentiment in the center.  Hmm..stay tuned!

I am adding this over at Seize the Birthday: Anything Goes.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

Merry Monday - Ornaments

Hi everyone!  Sharing a card today that was inspired by the challenge over at Merry Monday: Add an ornament to your Christmas card.

I stamped the ornamental background stamp and glued a piece of card stock over it that I had die cut with a circle die.  I added the silver bow, sentiment and some sequins to finish off this clean and simple card.  While I had my supplies out I made a bunch of these in different colors.

I was able to create 7 of these in no time.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

More Ornamental Background

Hi everyone!  It is so much fun seeing everyone's creations pop up over on StampNation and blog land using the SOA Winterhaven Collection.  Have you grabbed yours yet?  I hear there are only a few left.

For my card today I stamped and embossed in white the Ornamental Background stamp onto black card stock.  I love how it turned out, but wanted to add a bit of color.  I grabbed my Nuvo drops to add a drop of blue to the center of each ornament.  Think of all the pops of colors you could use here!  There are so many different colored Nuvo drops, so many possibilities!

I embossed the sentiment onto a strip of black card stock and cut a flag end and attached it to my card.  Some Black & White twine finishes it off.

I am adding this over at Christmas Card Challenges.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

SOA Winterhaven is available!

Hi everyone!  The new Stamp of Approval Winterhaven Collection is now available in the shop! The Add-on dies have already sold out, but you will be able to purchase those later on.  Hurry and get your box before they sell out!  They won't last long.

Here's another card using the gorgeous Poinsettia & the Good Stuff Dies.

Are you all in love with this Poinsettia as much as I am?!  It's just so amazing!  I stamped the Poinsettia and then masked it to stamp the leaves.  Absolutely LOVE the font on the sentiment too.

This card would be pretty easy to mass produce!

I will add this over at Christmas Card Challenges.  I am thinking I really need to make a card just like this using the inspiration photo over at the challenge.  What do you think?

Here is the inspiration photo.

SOA Winterhaven Release Day!!!

Hi everyone!  It's release day for the SOA Winterhaven Collection!  So exciting!

I have some more cards to share with you today using goodies from the release.

I created 4 of these cards while I had my supplies out.  I created 2 with the same sentiment and then another 2 with a different sentiment and of course, changed colors on each one.

I am so in love with this Poinsettia stamp from the 'Tis the Season stamp set.  It is so unique and fun!

After stamping the poinsettia and leaves (masked the poinsettia before stamping the leaves), I trimmed my panel down and fussy cut around the Poinsettia and leaves.  I love the look this gives.  I added some silver glitter paper to add some more sparkle and stamped the sentiment using Black Jack ink.  Yes, I did a little stamp surgery on this Merry Christmas stamp.  It comes as a long sentiment and I wanted to use it this way so a simple snip and voila.  I can easily use it the way it was created by putting them back together where I cut them apart.

There are dies for this set as an ADD-ON.  I have already placed my order for them (I am not a fan of a lot of fussy cutting, though this Poinsettia is pretty easy to cut out).  You can also do this technique with the dies by doing partial die cutting, but I wanted to show you that you can easily do this by fussy cutting.

I had to do a blue Poinsettia.  I embossed the center of the flowers with silver embossing powder.  This sentiment is part of the 'Tis the Season stamp set.

Here are all 4 together to show the different colors I used.

SOA Winterhaven Collection Release Day!

Hi everyone!  Today's the day!  The Winterhaven Collection is now available to purchase!  It's only available while supplies last, so hurry!  These sell out quickly, so order yours today!

I have another super clean and simple, easy to mass produce card to share with you today featuring the Here We Come A-Caroling & the Tis the Season stamp sets.

To create my card, I stamped the candle image from the Tis the Season stamp set along the bottom of my card base.  I used my misti to try to get somewhat even placement.  I then stamped and fussy cut the holly leaves and berries.  There is a die for this set that is an add-on.  These were pretty easy to fussy cut though.  I then stamped the sentiment from Here We Come A-Caroling, added the holly leaves and berries, trimmed the panel, added some silver glitter paper and popped up the panel with foam tape.

I hope you have enjoyed seeing my cards this week!  Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

Happy shopping!

SOA Winterhaven Collection

Hi everyone!  Today is Day 3 of the Stamp of Approval Winterhaven Collection Blog Hops.  I am not officially "on" today either, but I still have more cards to share with you all.  Click below to visit each days hop, starting on Catherine's blog.
  1. Day 1 Hop
  2. Day 2 Hop
  3. Day 3 Hop
This card features the amazing Joy Wreath Dies and a sentiment from Here We Come A-Caroling.

To color my wreath, I "smooshed" Garden Party, Lime Rickey, & Melon Ice onto my craft mat, spritzed with water and placed my die cut wreath into the colors.  I love the variation of color I achieved.  For the red berries I used Stickles.  This is a perfect card for mass producing!

My second card features Here We Come A-Caroling and the Add On dies.

You know I love a rainbow, so I just had to stamp these trees in rainbow order.  I love this bench and light pole.  So classic!  I also love the touch of silver glimmer paper on each card.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

SOA Winterhaven Collection

Hi everyone!  Happy Sunday!  Today is Day 2 of the SOA Winterhaven Collection Blog Hops.  I am not officially "on" today, but I have more cards to share with you all.  You can start today's hop over on Catherine's blog.

Did you hop along yesterday?!  Click HERE to see my blog post and hop along for your chance to win the collection!

This card features the Ornamental Background stamp and Here We Come A-Caroling.

For this card I used a technique called Joseph's Coat.  If you have never heard of this technique I will try to explain it to you.  Start by cutting a piece of water color card stock, watercolor the panel using ink colors in rainbow order.  I just did thinish stripes of each color until I filled the panel.  Let dry completely or heat completely with your heat tool.

Stamp and emboss using clear embossing powder over the rainbow watercolored panel.  After embossing has cooled down a bit, sponge over entire panel with black ink.  The clear embossing resists the ornaments to allow the amazing rainbow colors to shine through.  Awesome, right?!  I haven't done this technique in ages.  It is so fun!

We are also still going strong over on StampNation with WCMD 2017.  Two more challenges will be posted today.

Here is a peek at my card for Alaska's challenge.

Members can view the challenge here!

I was inspired to create a similar card using the same supplies.

The challenge was to use embossing or texture paste, whipped spackle or any product that is fluffly like snow.  For the happy birthday card, I used translucent embossing paste on the panel behind the star.  It was really hard to get a good picture of it.

Here is a little bit better picture.

To achieve the sparkle on the star I used the amazing Glass Bead Glitter Gel.  This stuff is amazing!  I applied it after I had sponged the star.

I will add this over at Seize the Birthday: No topping for me.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

**The box is only available while supplies last.**
Make sure that you are on the Wait List to be notified when it is available.

The box contains products that can be used together to create many different cards.  They can also be used along with products you already have in your stash!  Awesome!!  I have had a blast creating with this collection.

My first card features the Here We Come A-Caroling stamp set.

I absolutely LOVE the silhouette images that come in this set.  They look amazing stamped over blended backgrounds like I did here.  See the dog, that is Catherine's dog Eli!  So cute!!!  There is also an adorable squirrel in the set that I have to use soon on a card.  Also, check out the font on that sentiment!  SWOON!!!  There are many other sentiments in this set with the same font.  LOVE!!!

***There are a couple ADD-ON die sets for this collection.  When ordering your box you can add these to your cart as well.
  • Here We Come A-Caroling Dies
  • Tis the Season Dies
My second card features another sentiment from Here We Come A-Caroling, the Ornamental Background stamp, Good Stuff stamp set & dies.

I love that the dies in the Good Stuff die set can be used not only to create amazing tags, but can be used them to create a fun frame for your cards.  Also, the Ornamental Background is amazing stamped on a full card base, but also fun to fussy cut and use individual ones like I did here.  AND another amazing sentiment.  I love this collection and will have more cards to share with you soon.

Its time not to start hopping along, BUT before you go, make sure you leave comments on each stop along the way for your chance to win!  Your next stop on the hop is Justine!
