LOVE YOU MORE

Hi friends!  Happy Sunday!  I'm sharing another card today using the Making Waves Background stamp released as part of Catherine's Waves of Happiness release.  I stamped the background stamp onto a piece of white card stock and then embossed using clear embossing powder.  I then grabbed some Copic markers and colored in the image.

I die cut a circle from my card front and attached that over top the colored background image.  I added a white heat embossed sentiment on a strip of black card stock.  The sentiment is from Catherine's One Liners Sentiments set.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!

Hi friends!  Happy Friday!  I've got a card to share today using the leftovers from the card I posted yesterday.  I love getting two cards from one technique piece.  I used the outline of the Cleo slimline die as a guide to glue the inside pieces onto my card front.  I only used the scallops and left the circles in the center off to be able to stamp my sentiment.  You could have added the circles and then white heat embossed the sentiment on a strip of black card stock and adhered that over the circles, but I decided to leave them off.

The sentiment is from Catheirne's Thoughtful Phrases stamp set.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CLEO SLIMLINE!

Hi friends!  Happy Thursday!  I've got a fun birthday card to share today using the Cleo Slimline Die on an A2 sized card.  I love using my slimline dies on these cards as well as slimline.  Helps you get more use from them.  I started my card by ink blending some colors onto a piece of card stock in rainbow order.  I then used the die and kept all the inside pieces for another card which I will share soon.  I then die cut another piece using just white card stock and embossed the inside pieces using Gold embossing glitter.

After embossing the pieces I adhered them back into the die and added a sentiment from Happy Birthday Many Ways from Catherine.  I embossed that using the same embossing glitter I used on the die cut pieces.

ENJOY THE LITTLE THINGS

Hi friends!  Happy Monday!  Sorry, it's been a little quiet on my blog.  Last week I went on a road trip with my mom and daughter.  We went out to Grand Rapids, Michigan for my daughters college orientation.  It was a great trip!  While we were in Grand Rapids I was lucky enough to meet up & have a lovely dinner with Michele from I Card Everyone!  I was so thankful to be able to meet her in person, she is the sweetest.  We have been blogging friends for a LONG time.  I'm also thankful she will be close to where my daughter is going to college.

Ok, onto my card.  I used the Cleo Slimline die and the Puffin Party Stamp set as well as a couple new ink colors.  I ink blended Bay Breeze & Cove Blue onto my card base, masking off the bottom to keep it white.  I also flicked some water over top to get some water marks.  I then adhered the Cleo Slimline die cut over top and added a puffin and sentiment embossed in white on black cardstock.

I finished off the card with some black and white twine.

COLOR HUES #18 - PURPLE & TEAL

Hi friends!  Welcome to my post for Color Hues Challenge #18!  This time we are challenging you to use Purple & Teal for your card or project.

I pulled out an oldie but goodie stamp set from Papertrey ink called Building Blocks to create my CAS card today.  I used colored card stock to die cut the sentiment strips and then stamped the sentiments onto each strip.

It was hard to capture the dry embossing on the background of this card, I used the Dotted Swirls Debossing cover die from Altenew to give the background some texture.  It looks amazing in real life.

MISS YOU!!!

Hi friends!  Happy Saturday!  I'm sharing another card using the Waves of Happiness collection from Catherine.  I used the Among the Seaweed Cover Plate Die to dry emboss the background.  I then stamped and die cut a bunch of the shells from the Puffin Party stamp set as well as two of the puffins.

I stamped the sentiment from the One Liners sentiment set onto their bellies and added a bit of shading to their bellies and faces using Copic markers.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SLIMLINE

Hi friends!  Happy Thursday!  I've got another card to share with you all today using the Waves of Happiness release by Catherine.  I use lots of new stamps/dies on this card.  The first is the Cleo slimline die.  I added it to the background for some texture.  I then used the Rocky Cove die to mimic sand castles.  I die cut them from kraft card stock and added some shading around the edges for dimension.  I then stamped and die cut the adorable puffins as well as a bunch of rainbow shells.

The sentiment is from my all time favorite Happy Birthday Many Ways.

WAVES OF HAPPINESS & BEACH RETREAT INKS AVAILABLE TODAY!!!

Hi friends!  Today's release day for Catherine's Waves of Happiness collection!  The release goes live in the shop this morning May 12th at 9 AM EST.  The new products are linked in this post, but please note that the links will not be live until ordering opens.

I've got a birthday card to share with you today using the Making Waves Background stamp in a little bit different way.

I stamped the background onto my card stock using Midnight ink and quickly added clear embossing powder over top to add some shine.  Catherine's inks stay wet just long enough to do this.  I then grabbed my Copics and started coloring in the design.

I finished off the card with a sentiment from Happy Birthday Many Ways stamp set and created a frame using the Postage Stamp dies.

WAVES OF HAPPINESS AVAILABLE TODAY FOR STAMPNATION MEMBERS!!!

Hi friends!  Happy Tuesday!  The Waves of Happiness Collection is available today at Noon EDT for StampNation members.  It will be available tomorrow at 9am for everyone!

My card today features the Making Waves Background stamp & the Puffin Party stamp set.

I stamped the Making Waves background stamp onto a piece of white card stock in Midnight ink and then embossed with clear embossing powder for some shine.  I then colored it in with Copic markers.  I trimmed the panel down and adhered it to the sides of my card front.  I have extra pieces left over that I will share how I used on two other cards later on.

I stamped and die cut the puffin and colored his beak in with Copics and added a bit of shading to his belly and face.  I stamped and white heat embossed the sentiment onto a piece of black card stock and adhered the puffin behind the sentiment.

SHORE HOPE TODAY IS SPECIAL

Hey there friends!! The latest release from Catherine Pooler — Waves of Happiness — releases May 11th at noon for StampNation members and May 12th for everyone!

I'm sharing a card today featuring the Puffin Party stamp set, Making Waves Background stamp & the Rocky Cove die.

I started my card by stamping the Making Waves background stamp onto my card base using Tranquil ink. I then die cut the Rocky Cove die from kraft card stock and ink blended some Sand Castle ink around the edges for some dimension. I stamped and die cut the puffin and colored in his beak and feet and added some shading to his belly.

I stamped and die cut some of the shells from the Puffin Party stamp set. I added a strip of card stock across the bottom of my card and blended some Sand Castle ink on it to mimic sand. I then adhered all the pieces onto my card base. I stamped the sentiment directly onto the Rocky Cove die. You can see the embossed detail on the Rocky Cove die in this photo. I love it!!
