RAINBOW NORDIC STAR BIRTHDAY CARDS

Hi friends!  Happy snowy Friday from Northern CT!  We woke up this morning to snow falling.  I'm not a huge fan of snow, but it does look so pretty when I don't have to go out in it.  It's actually the cold that I am not a fan of.  I think I need to live somewhere in the south.  haha

I have two birthday cards to share today using the Nordic Stars stamps and dies.  Did you see my slimline card I posted yesterday?  You can check it out HERE.  These are the leftover panels that I ink blended and die cut the white heat embossed stars from.  I stamped the stars and used gold sparkle embossing glitter to emboss the stars.  I love how they turned out.  The one of the left I popped up using dimensional adhesive and the one on the right I glued down flat and popped up the sentiment.

Catherine's inks blend like butter!

Have you checked out Catherine's new Nordic Wood release?  Do you have a favorite?  I look forward to seeing new projects from everyone using these goodies.

HOLIDAY WISHES SLIMLINE

Hi friends!  Happy Thursday!  I hope your week is going well.  I have another slimline card to share with you all today using the new Nordic Wood collection released yesterday from Catherine Pooler.  I was inspired by a card I saw over on The Greetery blog recently and had to recreate it using the new Nordic Stars stamps and Flurries slimline die.

I started my card by die cutting the Flurries slimline die and adhering that to my card base.  I then set that aside to work on the rainbow snowflakes.  I stamped and white heat embossed the stars onto a piece of card stock.  I used my blending brushes to apply ink in rainbow order down the panel.  I then die cut the snowflakes and adhered them to the card.

I adhered some Vegas Baby sequins to the center of each snowflake and then die cut the wishes sentiment from gold card stock and the back layer from vellum.  I gold heat embossed the holiday sentiment and trimmed it down to pop up on the card.  I love how this turned out.

NORDIC WOOD COLLECTION AVAILABLE NOW!!!

Hi friends!  The Nordic Wood Collection is available TODAY at (9AM) for purchase!  You can click HERE to visit the store and start shopping!

I've got a slimline card to share with you all today using the new Flurries slimline die with the Alpine Village stamp set and dies.

I stamped and die cut some of the adorable houses & trees from the Alpine Village stamp set from colors that coordinate with the In the Alps patterned paper pack.  I set those aside while I worked on the rest of the card.  I die cut the flurries slimline die from a piece of white card stock.  I adhered a piece of glitter paper on the card base so the sparkle would show through the snow of the die cut piece.

I stamped and silver heat embossed the sentiment on the bottom of the die cut piece and then adhered it to the card base.  I then adhered the houses and trees, gluing some down and popping some up with dimensional adhesive.

NORDIC WOOD COLLECTION AVAILABLE TODAY FOR STAMPNATION MEMBERS!!!

Hi friends!  The Nordic Wood Collection is available today at Noon EDT for StampNation members.  It will be available tomorrow at 9am for everyone!

I'm sharing a card using the Nordic Stars stamp set.

I love the designs in this set and the two step stamping you can do.  For this card I just used the second step stamp to create a fun pattern on my background.  I used my MISTI to stamp the star/snowflake using midnight ink.  I then trimmed the panel and adhered it to a red card base.

I stamped and white heat embossed the sentiment on a strip of red card stock and popped it up on my card using dimensional adhesive.  This was pretty simple card to create.

I've made quite a few more cards using the new collection and I can't wait to share more.  Do you have a favorite set or bundle?

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

NORDIC WOOD COLLECTION COMING SOON!!!

Hi friends!  Happy Monday!  Did you catch Catherine on Youtube yesterday?  She shared three of the new bundles that are part of the new Nordic Wood release.  This release will be in the shop on the 28th - that's Wednesday!  If you are a StampNation member than you get to shop on the 27th!!!

I've got a couple cards to share today using the Nordic Stars & Sweater Weather background stamps.

How fun are these Stars?  I just love them & that Sweater Weather background stamp is just amazing.  I love that it is big so you can use it on vertical or horizontal orientation cards.  So fun and perfect for winter cards.  I stamped and white heat embossed the three different sized stars onto red card stock.  I used the coordinating dies to cut them out.  The background was stamped on a kraft card base using white pigment ink.

I used the stitched rectangle die from the Postage stamp dies to cut out the white panel and added it at an angle onto my card base.  Stamped the sentiment using Midnight ink and then added black & white twine to finish it off.

Here's another card using the same supplies just different colors and orientation & using the All Around Wishes Sentiments stamp set.

This time I stamped the background using Twilight ink and used the alternate image for the inside of the stars.  Each of the size stars has two different images to use for the inside stamp.  The stamp set also comes with a solid image stamp for each of the sizes, I decided to just cut from card stock instead of stamping using the solid image.  So many possibilities with this set.

I'll be back tomorrow with more cards using this collection.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

(Please note that the new products are linked but will not go live in the shop until release day as noted above.)

JOY SHAKER CARD

Hi friends!  Happy Sunday!  Today's card was inspired by the sketch over at CAS(e) this Sketch!  When I saw the sketch I knew I wanted to create a shaker element for the circle in the sketch.  I used some of the All Wrapped Up patterned paper by Catherine.

The holly leaves and berries are from the Stocking Stuffers stamp set and the joy sentiment is from an older set called Tiny Wishes.  The sequin mix is Mistletoe.

RAINBOW TREES

Hi friends!  Happy Saturday!  I've got another slimline card today using the Jolly Trees stamp set.  I've had this idea in my head for a while and finally got a chance to sit down and create it.  I love how it turned out and think this would also look amazing in different shades of green or blue or green & blue.

I stamped and die cut some stars to add to some trees using Metallic Gold Sparkle Embossing Glitter.  I also stamped and embossed the sentiment on a strip of vellum using the same embossing glitter.  I love the sparkle the gold adds.

**COMING SOON!!**

CHRISTMAS GREETINGS & NORDIC WOOD COMING SOON!!!

Hi friends!  Happy Friday!  Today's card is for a fun challenge going on over at StampNation that my fellow brand ambassador, Karen has put together for the members to play along with to get a start on Holiday card making.  The theme of the challenges are Children's games-Holiday Edition.  Last week she had a fun game of Tic Tac Toe, this week it's Jump Rope.  She challenges everyone to Feature a Natural Element on their Holiday card/project.

I chose Pinecones.  This one from The Greetery is my absolute favorite!  I love how easy it is to put together and how realistic they look.  AND that shiplap background is another favorite of mine, how amazing is that?!!  That's also a die from The Greetery.

I die cut the pinecone pieces and the bow from colored card stock.  You could also cut them from white card stock and color them with ink or markers.  Both ways look amazing.  The sentiment is an older one from Papertrey ink.

Catherine has a new release coming next week, she revealed the theme today on Facebook live with some sneak peeks.  It's another great collection of goodies.  There are 3 different bundles being released.  I can't wait to share what I have created with some of the new goodies.  This collection hits the shop on Wed. Oct. 28th at 9am.  StampNation members get to order early!

ROW OF GIFTS FOR CHRISTMAS

Hi everyone!  Happy Thursday!  Hope your week is going well.  I've got a couple cards to share today using the Caroling Sentiments stamp set.  This time using the row of presents to create a clean & simple Christmas card.

I masked off each present so that I could stamp them in rainbow order.  I had the stamp in my MISTI for perfect stamping each time.

Here is another card I did using two blue inks.

I inked up the center of the presents using Something Borrowed ink.  I used a finger dauber to blend the edge so I wouldn't get a harsh line and then I added Fiesta Blue ink to the sides blending the ink again for no harsh lines and a nice blend between the colors.

I used a sentiment from the Festive Trimmings stamp set.  Some black & white twine finish off my cards.

MAY YOUR SEASON BE SWEET

Hi friends!  I've got another card to share using the Sweetest Season stamp set.  I had to stamp and die cut these adorable candies using rainbow colors.  I arranged the candies at angles to create movement across my card.

I layered the main panel onto a piece of Black Tie Gala paper!  I LOVE this black and white paper pack!!!

CANDY CANE WISHES

Hi friends!  Happy Monday!  How are you coming along on your Christmas card making for this year?  I know I am behind quite a bit.  I need to get moving.  Here is a simple card using some patterned paper and a couple stamp sets.

I used the Sweetest Season stamp set to stamp the sentiment and the candy cane.  The bursts beside the "wishes" is from the Nice List stamp set.  The strip of patterned paper comes from the Holiday Whimsy paper pack.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!
