BIRTHDAY CARDS!

Hi friends!  After a busy month of August birthday's my birthday card stash was very low.  I decided to pull out a new to me set from Catherine Pooler and get to work on my stash.  I love the Birthday Stacks Stamp set and coordinating dies.  This set makes it easy to make some fun birthday cards.

I pulled my colors from Color Hues Color Challenge and followed the sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches.

It was easy to create both of these cards at one time.  I plan on making this same design on more cards and just change up the colors that I use.

WITH ALL MY LOVE!!

Hi friends!  I've got a couple more cards to share today using the Feeling Fall Collection from Catherine.  I used the Woven Cover Plate die to create the background and then I stamped the sentiment in White Pigment ink and then moved it over a bit in my Misti and stamped again using Rose Petals ink.  I die cut it using a circle die and then stamped and die cut a bunch of the images from the Bless this House stamp set and glued them around the circle.

I created another card just changed the color of the sentiment.

I like this one too, but thought the Rose Petals sentiment stood out a bit more.  What do you all think?

FEELING FALL AVAILABLE TODAY!!!

 

Hi friends!  Today's release day for Catherine's Feeling Fall Collection!

The release goes live in the shop this morning August 2nd at 9 AM EST.  The new products are linked at the end of this post.

I used the Woven Cover plate die to create a tone on tone background for my focal image.  I die cut an oval die and adhered the pieces from the Bless this House stamp set to the bottom of the oval and stamped the sentiment.

I decided I wanted to use the Frame dies to emboss on this CAS card.  I love how this looks as well.  I stamped the Mod Textiles design using Midnight ink and then used the frame to emboss.  

I added the small sprig with berries to the vase this time and added a buttercream candle.  The sentiment was die cut using a circle die.
