HAPPY BIRTHDAY & EARN DOUBLE POINTS!!!!

Hi everyone!  I hope you are all doing well and to those who celebrated Christmas yesterday, I hope your day was blessed.

I am sharing a birthday card today using these fun balloons from the Birthday Icons stamp set.  I used a fun color combination to stamp the balloons across the top of my card.  I added the small star stamp in the set to the center of the balloons in Midnight ink to bring in some black from the white heat embossed sentiment.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE!!

Hi friends!  I am popping in really quick this Christmas Eve morning to share with you another Christmas card.  I am definitely not saying this is my last one because I create my Christmas cards all year long to make sure I am not stressed come Nov. & Dec. next year.

I absolutely LOVE this snowflake from the Peaceful Flakes stamp set.  It looks gorgeous using the emboss resist technique.  I used It's a Boy ink in the center and Something Borrowed towards the edges.

I typically white heat emboss a sentiment on black card stock, but decided to change it up a bit on this card and use Red card stock.  I love these colors together.  Thankfully, I had some red and white twine to add to the top.

Thank you SO much for visiting and your continuous support and comments on my blog throughout the year.  I will be back soon with a fun hop and giveaway.  Stay tuned!

Have a blessed day!

Happy Birthday!

Hi friends!  I am sharing a sweet birthday card today.  I adore the new number stamps in the Milestone Birthday Numbers stamp set by Catherine.  I stamped all of the numbers up to 5 using Twilight ink.  I then stamped and die cut the 3 using Orange Twist ink.

I die cut a few 3's from white card stock and glued them together to give more dimension to the 3.  I stamped and white heat embossed the Happy Birthday sentiment onto black card stock and glued it under the 3.  The border across the bottom is from the Yay Stripes stamp set.

To create the orange strip, I used direct to paper to create the strip so it coordinates perfectly with the stamped 3.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

SNOWFLAKE THANKS

Hi everyone!  I'm popping in real quick today with another thank you card.  I know I am going to need a few of these for after the holiday so it's nice to have them on hand.

I stamped the largest snowflake from the Peaceful Flakes stamp set using It's a Boy ink in the center and Something Borrowed on the ends of the petals.  I then stamped and silver heat embossed the sentiment from the Note of Thanks stamp set.

I added some rhinestones to the snowflake for added bling and trimmed down the panel.  I adhered a strip of the striped paper to my card base and added a small silver embossed strip of paper to my stamped piece.  A pretty simple card and easy to mass produce.  Think of all the color combinations you could use on the snowflake too!!!

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

Thank you with Geometric Flakes

Hi friends!  I have a couple thank you cards to share with you all today.  I absolutely LOVE this Thank You die from Catherine.  I love the size, the font and that you can use it a number of different ways.

For this card I die cut the Geometric Flakes cover plate die from white and added it to my card base.  I love the added texture this gives without taking away from the design.  I then inked up a piece of card stock using Fiesta Blue and Aquatini inks.  I just swiped the inks across the card stock to get a gradient look.  I then die cut the thank you from it, saving all the pieces.  I also used silver glitter card stock to die cut another thank you.  The "shadow" piece was die cut using white card stock.

The silver glitter pieces are inlaid into the die cut.

For this card I dry embossed the card base using the Geometric Flakes cover plate.  I love the subtle texture this technique gives.

As you can see on this card it uses the leftover pieces from the card above.  Love getting two cards out of one die cut piece.  This time the outline is in the silver glitter paper and the inlaid pieces are the colored card stock.  I kept the "shadow" white on this one as well.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

Snowy Day Patterned Paper

Hi friends!  Did you see the awesome new patterned papers Catherine recently came out with for her new Winter Release?  I am in LOVE with the Snowy Day papers and this one especially, is my favorite!  I just love the colors and the snowflakes.

I trimmed down a piece of the paper and cut it at an angle.  I added it to my card base after adding a small strip of silver glitter paper.  I stamped the sentiment using Midnight ink and added some rhinestones to add some sparkle.  This was such a quick and easy card to make.

Here is another one with a leftover piece.

I again added a small strip of silver glitter paper and added it to my card front.  This time I die cut  the big snowflake from the Peaceful Flakes coordinating dies.  I die cut 3-4 of them and glued them together to create a thicker die cut.  I stamped the sentiment on the center of the snowflake and added it to my card.  Another super quick and easy card to create.

Look at all these gorgeous patterns!!!!

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

These new products will be available in the store NOW!!   There are three different bundles that you can purchase, the Smitten, Snowy Day or Cake & Confetti bundle.  You can either purchase them in their bundles or as individual items.

My first card is using items in the Snowy Day Bundle.

I stamped one of the gorgeous snowflakes from the Peaceful Flakes stamp set across my card front.  I used my MISTI to get perfect placement.  I then used my blender pen and Rockin' Red ink to color in parts of the snowflakes for a pop of color.  The sentiment was white heat embossed onto black card stock and is from a previously released set called Snowy Sayings.

I added some rhinestones to the center of each snowflake and some black and white twine to finish off my card.

My next card is using items in the Cake & Confetti Bundle.

I again stamped the candles across my card panel using Midnight ink.  I then did some water coloring onto a circle die cut and stamped the sentiment using Midnight ink.  The sentiment is perfect to use with these candles and is from the stamp set Young at Heart.

GEOMETRIC FLAKES!!!

Hi friends!  I am back today sharing some more card using the goodies from Catherine's new winter release.  Have you picked up any of the goodies?  The creative team shared creations on an Instagram Hop yesterday and more of the team will be sharing on a video hop today.

Today's cards use goodies from the Snowy Day Bundle.

I am in love with the Geometric Flakes Cover Plate Die.  I decided to show a portion of the die to keep my card clean and simple.  I die cut the Flakes from white card stock.  I then trimmed both silver and blue glitter paper and adhered the strips onto a piece of card stock.  I glued the Flakes on top of the glittered card stock.

I trimmed the front of my card using one of the dies from the Postage Stamp dies to create my window.  I added the white heat embossed tag and some rhinestones in the center of each flake to finish off this card.

For this card I decided to trim down the die cut piece and add some gold glitter card stock behind.  This is a quick, simple card to put together and you could easily make this into a birthday or thank you card by changing out the sentiment.  The sentiment I used is from the Holiday Mittens stamp set.  I added some black and white twine to finish off my card.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

I used the gorgeous Delicate Snowflake die from the Snowy Day Bundle to create another Christmas card.  I used the die to emboss on the Sand Dunes card stock and then die cut it from white card stock a few times and glued them together to create some dimension.

I added some small pearls to each of the "curls" and white heat embossed my sentiment on some red card stock.  I added some red & white twine to finish off my card.

Catherine is also releasing some new products in the shop today.  One is an amazing Envelope liner die and Envelopes!  WOOHOO!!!

She is also releasing some Cut and Stick Adhesive Paper that you can use on this delicate die cut to create a sticker so you don't have to add liquid glue to the thin lines.  Gotta get me some of that!!  ;)

Hope you join us for the Instagram Hop and come back here for more inspiration from me using some of these products.  The Blog Hop will be Friday so stop back by then.
