RAINBOW SLIMLINE HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Hi friends!  I'm posting real quick this morning a slimline card using the Rainbow Slimline die from Catherine Pooler.  I used direct to paper to color the rays in rainbow colors.

I inlaid the rays on the two corners and I popped the center rainbow up for dimension.  I used the Happy X Three die for the sentiment.

MAY YOUR SEASON BE SWEET

Hi friends!  Happy Sunday!  How cute are these peppermint candies in a wreath shape?  I embossed the background using the Peppermint Twist Cover Plate die.  I love the added texture the embossing creates.

The sentiment was white heat embossed on black card stock.  A trick I used to make sure the peppermints were lined up around the die cut black circle was I die cut a smaller circle out of vellum card stock and just placed it over top of the black card stock circle and then glued the peppermints around the vellum.  After they were all glued down, I just took off the vellum.  Easy peasy!

NICE LIST!!

Hi friends!  How fun are these elf hats and shoes from the Nice List stamp set?  I think they are so cute.

I am not a huge fan of coloring images, so one way to add color is to stamp on colored card stock.  I grabbed some blue, red and green card stock I had in my stash and stamped and die cut a bunch of these images and was able to put these cards together in no time.  You can't really see in the photo, but I did add some sparkle to the hats and shoes using my shimmer pen.  I also stamped the card base using a light gray color and one of the small images in the set.

Here is another card using all three on one card.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

FALALALALALA

Hi everyone!  I have another card to share with you using the Caroling Sentiments stamp set, this time using the tree stamp.  This is a super simple card to mass produce.  I stamped the tree image using my MISTI so I could stamp the lighter color on the top and the darker on the bottom.

After stamping the colors, I stamped using embossing ink and then sprinkled Wanderlust embossing powder over top to add some sparkle.  I then die cut it using the Postage stamp dies.  I popped the die cut panel up onto a white card base.

It is hard to see in this photo, but I used the die to emboss around the tree image for a bit more interest.  I love using dies to emboss on CAS cards.  It just adds a bit more to your cards.

CAROLING SENTIMENTS SHAKER CARDS

Hi friends!  I'm back today sharing some more Christmas cards using the Jolly Holiday Collection by Catherine Pooler.  The Caroling Sentiments set & coordinating dies work perfectly for some fun shaker cards.  I created one using the bauble and the present.  I added color by blending two colors using my blender brushes.  Some black tie gala paper down the side and some black & white twine finish off these cards nicely.

Here is a card using the gift stamp.  Same layout just switched out the colors.

I added seed beads to the shaker and some Crater Lake sequins.  They add just the right sparkle.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

COLOR HUES #2 NAVY & TURQUOISE

Hi friends!  Welcome back to another challenge for Color Hues!  Our challenge hues are Navy & Turquoise.  Remember you can use any hue of Navy and any hue of Turquoise along with neutrals.

I pulled out an oldie but goodie stamp set from Catherine to use on my slimline card.  It's called Wonderful Time of the Year.  I thought the ornaments were perfect for these two colors.  Don't they look so pretty?!

The sentiment is from the set Beautiful Berries: Winter by Papertrey Ink.  It was the perfect size for this card.  I love the font too!

I hope you will play along and hop on over to the Color Hues Challenge blog to see how my fellow Design Team members were inspired!

JOLLY HOLIDAY COLLECTION AVAILABLE TODAY!!!

Hi friends!  The Jolly Holiday Collection is available TODAY at (9AM) for purchase!  You can click HERE to visit the store and start shopping!

I've got another card to share with you using the Caroling Sentiments stamp set.

I think this set is my favorite from this release.  I love the sentiments on the different shapes and the coordinating dies.  I also LOVE the Dotted Zig Zag cover plate die!  It's such a fun design!  I layered it over a piece of black card stock so the dots show through.  I love using this cover plate with white on white for some texture.

For this card I stamped and die cut the ornament and then sponges some blue ink over top.  I die cut two more ornaments from white card stock and sponged red ink onto one and green ink on the other.  I then masked off the top of the ornament and stamped it onto the top of each one.  The stars and dots were added using a darker shade of red & green inks.

Happy Shopping!

BIRTHDAY BALLOONS

Hi friends!  Happy Thursday!  I've got another birthday card to share with you today.  I used the Oval Balloon stencils from Catherine.  I love these stencils because you can use a heavy hand on one side of the balloon to give dimension.

I white heat embossed the sentiment from Happy Birthday Many Ways stamp set and stamped the strings for the balloons from the Yay Gifts stamp set!

RAINBOW SLIMLINE DIE

Hi friends!  Happy Wednesday!  I've got a couple more cards to share with you today using the amazing rainbow slimline die from Catherine!  On my card above I used the two corner rainbows and stamped the birthday sentiment from Happy Birthday Many Ways.  I love this big sentiment.  Some spa ink colors were used here in gorgeous rainbow order.

Of course, I had to make a card with the center rainbow.  Here is that card:

It's a two for one!  Love that!  How perfect is that sentiment too?!  There are definitely some peeps I am missing like crazy.

COLOR HUES #1 YELLOW & GREEN

Hi friends!  There's a new papercrafting challenge in town, and it's called Color Hues! Today is our our very first challenge.  Color Hues was created by Nancy Leppek, who I'm sure many of you already know.  The concept: twice a month we shall challenge you to use as many hues as you wish of the two colors we name (plus neutrals) in your project. The design team will always have projects to inspire you, and you may enter each challenge up to three times.

Here are the colors for our first challenge!

Yellow and green immediately made me think of sunflowers.  Here's my card using these colors:

I stamped this gorgeous sunflower from The Ton stamps using Catherine Pooler inks.  Although it looks like I used an orange color on the sunflower, it's actually Tiara over Limoncello & I added the third layer of this stamp using Sauna ink.  Sauna is in Catherine's Spa ink line up but still yellow.  I stamped the leaves using different hues of green from Catherine's party collection of inks.

I added the Savannah Cover Plate Die in white for some tone on tone dimension to my background.  The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.

I hope you will play along and hop on over to the Color Hues Challenge blog to see how my fellow Design Team members were inspired!

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!
