HOME SWEET HOME & ADORING YOU STAMP OF APPROVAL

Hi friends!  The Adoring You Stamp of Approval Collection from Catherine Pooler is now available in the shop!  The new products are all linked below.

I used lots of goodies from the collection on this card including the Love Note background stamp and the Sweet Home Wreath stamp set and coordinating dies.  I love the subtle background you get by stamping using Twilight ink.

This wreath is another one of my favorites with the coral flowers to adorn it.

Here are a few more cards I created using the collection.

If you missed this collection, now is your chance to snatch up whatever you like.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY COLOR BURSTS

Hi friends!  I am back today sharing another card using the Color Burst powders by Catherine Pooler and Ken Oliver!  I love these amazing powders in CP colors.  This background piece features the Suede Shoes and Samba color bursts.  I started by sprinkling some of the powders on my water color card stock and then spritzed with water and let the water work its magic.  That is the fun thing about color bursts, you never get the same look twice.  They are such fun to play with.

I love the Feelin' Hexy cover plate die over top this colorful piece.  I inlaid some of the pieces back in to create more white space and white heat embossed the sentiment from the Hex Marks the Spot stamp set.  Some black and white twine finishes off my card.

RIZZO BACKGROUND BIRTHDAY WISHES

Hi friends!  Have you seen Catherine's new Bursts & Backgrounds release yet?  This background stamp is one of the new stamps being released and it is just amazing.  I couldn't resist stamping it in rainbow order using Catherine's inks.  So pretty!

I used my MISTI to stamp so I could get a good blend in between each color.  I used the Carnival Mini ink pads.

I white heat embossed a sentiment onto a strip of black card stock and popped it up across the card.  I then added some sparkly clear sequins and black and white twine to finish off this simple card.

BURSTS & BACKGROUNDS RELEASE BY CATHERINE POOLER!!!!

Hi friends!  Have you heard the awesome news???!!!  Catherine Pooler Designs has teamed up with Ken Oliver to create a set of Color Bursts that match 4 of her wildly popular ink colors from the Carnivale Collection.

Say hello to the new COLOR BURSTS!!!  This 6 pack includes FOUR Color Burst colors and TWO Sparkles in Samba, Limoncello, Mardi Gras and Suede Shoes!

To celebrate this Inky collaboration Catherine is also releasing new backgrounds, cover plates and stencils designed to coordinate with our bursts.

I have a couple cards to share today using the new Color Bursts and the backgrounds.  My first card features the new Feelin' Hexy Cover Plate!

I am SO in love with this cover plate!  I am a geometric shape fan through and through.  I also love that it coordinates with the Hex Marks the Spot stamp set.

I die cut from black card stock and adhered it to my white card base and then I die cut some of the Hexagons from the Cabana Tile Dies and used my Zig Clean Color Brush Markers to water color them.

After the watercolored Hexagons were dry, I stamped and heat embossed using Wanderlust embossing glitter.  I used one of the stamps from the Hex Marks the Spot stamp set.  I white heat embossed a sentiment from the Note of Thanks stamp set on black card stock and adhered that to my card.  I then added some sparkly clear sequins.

My next card features the Color Burst powders & the gorgeous Rizzo Background stamp.

I used the Joseph's Coat technique.  I love this technique with this stamp.  The color under the clear embossing is from the Limoncello and Sauna Colorburst powders.

I hope you enjoyed my projects today and are inspired!  Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

AHOY

Ahoy friends!!!  How amazing does this Shell Parade stencil look with rainbow colors blended over top and the Ahoy die in black with some added sparkle?!

I masked off the top and bottom of my card base using purple tape and then used my life changing brushes and a rainbow ink palette to blend.

I added sparkle over the Ahoy die using my Spectrum Noir sparkle pen.  The shine is gorgeous in real life.  It was so hard to capture on camera.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

HOPE ANCHORS THE SOUL

Hi friends!  I did tell you I am in love with this anchor stamp, right?!  I was SO inspired, I created many cards using it.  This time I wanted to stamp them using white pigment ink onto kraft card stock and add the pop of red.  I love how this looks.

The rope stamp inked up using Rockin' Red ink over the white pigment ink just makes these anchors pop.  This is a super simple card that could be mass produced using so many different color combos on the anchors.  Hmmm, I am inspired again.  LOL

FINTASTIC BIRTHDAY

Hi friends!  I'm sharing a simple, but sparkly birthday card today using the fun Shell Parade stencil and a sentiment from the Hook, Line & Sinker stamp set by Catherine.

I started my card by masking off the sides of my panel with purple tape and then ink blending Garden Party and Mardi Gras inks using my Life Changing Brushes.  When I was happy with the blend, I placed the Shell Parade stencil over top and spread some Glass Bead Glitter Gel over top.

I love the sparkle and texture!  I stamped and silver heat embossed the sentiment onto a strip of vellum card stock and adhered that to my panel and then adhered the panel to a card base.

YOU ARE MY ANCHOR

Hi friends!  Today is my 23rd Wedding Anniversary and this is the card I gave to my hubby.  He certainly is my anchor. 💖

I again used the anchor & rope die from the Refuse to Sink set along with the gorgeous stripey patterned paper from the Salt & Seaweed patterned paper pack.

I didn't want to use the full sentiment in the set, so I masked off the bottom part to just stamp "You are my anchor".  The rest of the sentiment says "in the waves and the wind".   How gorgeous is the anchor stamped using Green Tea ink?!!  I love it!
Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

REFUSE TO SINK SHAKER

Hi friends!  I'm back today sharing a fun shaker card using goodies from Catherine's Unsinkable release!  I am still loving this anchor die and wanted to make a fun shaker card using one of the patterned papers.  I love the colors in this wave one and thought it would make a great background for my white anchor.

I used the Big Sur sequin mix for the shaker bits and the sentiment from the Refuse to Sink stamp set.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

WAVING HELLO

Hi friends!  I'm back with another card using the Unsinkable release by Catherine Pooler.  I had such a great time with these products and made tons of cards.  I can't wait to share them all with you throughout the month and next month.

Not sure how many of you know, my son is in the Navy, so this anchor stamp and die have my heart.  I love it in all colors, but think these colors look fab together.

Green Tea and Daydream as well as Midnight.

OCEANS OF THANKS

Hi friends!  Happy Thursday!  Did you get a chance to hop along the blog hop yesterday for Catherine's new Unsinkable release?

  • You can start the Blog hop HERE!
  • There is also a video hop starting today, you can start that HERE!

There are prizes being offered, just sayin'!

I have a couple more cards to share with you using the Hook, Line & Sinker stamp set.

I LOVE the wave stamp in this set and had to make rainbow waves.  So fun, right?!

I stamped and white heat embossed one of the sentiments from the set onto a black die cut circle and adhered it with dimensional adhesive.  Added some sparkly clear sequins and some black and white twine to finish off my card.

Here is another one a bit different.

Instead of the white embossed sentiment on a black circle, I just left a spot for the sentiment and added a strip of black card stock behind the panel.
