Hi friends!  Happy Sunday!  Did you see my post the other day about Catherine Pooler's upcoming Ink-Aversary and the sale she is going to have on her full size ink pads and refills?  Click here to check out that post.  The sale starts tomorrow and is only 2 days, Nov. 1st & 2nd!  She is also having a huge giveaway.

On November 1st at noon EST on Catherine Pooler's YouTube channel, there will be information on how we're celebrating with a chance to win an entire year of new Catherine Pooler ink releases! Wouldn't that be a dream?

I created another card using one of my new favorite color combos-Flame & Glitz!  I love these two colors together.

These colors through the Wavy Lines Stencil make a great background for the zebra from the Take a Peek stamp set.  A simple sentiment embossed in white on a black die cut finishes off this card.

MAHALO!

Hi friends!  Happy Saturday!  I've got another card to share today using ink blending through the Wavy Lines stencil.  It's one of my favorite techniques to use with Catherine's inks.  Check out the graphic below for a HUGE giveaway from Catherine coming on Monday!

I stamped this gorgeous giraffe onto my card base and then stamped it again on a piece of post it tape and used the coordinating die to cut it out.  I placed the post it tape over top the stamped giraffe and ink blended through the stencil using Uptown ink.  I was a little more heavy handed towards to top and faded to white at the bottom.  This was the perfect spot to add my sentiment.  I loved removing the post it tape and revealing the giraffe.  So fun!

Catherine is celebrating 5 years since she introduced her amazing inks to the crafty world.  She is celebrating BIG!!!

I'm sharing a card today also using one of my recent favorite techniques using Catherine's inks.  Ink blending through a stencil.  Catherine's inks blend beautifully!

Look how gorgeous Rockin' Red looks over top Kraft card stock.  Another thing I love about Catherine's inks is the solid, smooth images.  "With our foam pads, two or three LOVE TAPS are all you need to get full coverage on your stamp that transfers beautifully to your paper."  I can attest to this as I have used plenty of other ink pads and have had frustration about not getting a solid stamped image without using my MISTI.

Here is another card using Mardi Gras.

TWO FOR ONE BIRTHDAY CARDS USING A BACKGROUND STAMP!!

Hi friends!  Happy Tuesday!  I've got two cards to share today that I created by stamping and embossing a background stamp onto a piece of card stock.  I used the Postage Stamp Dies to cut out the center of the stamped and embossed panel.  That created a frame for one card.

This Happy Birthday sentiment fit perfectly.  I then used the cut out rectangle on my second card.

I added a simple white heat embossed sentiment on this card.  Two very simple cards from one background stamp.  I used Metallic Gold Sparkle embossing glitter on these so they shine in real life.  I could not capture that shine in my photos.

DECK THE HALLS

Hi friends!  Happy Saturday!  I've been working on getting my Christmas cards done, I got way behind this year.  I'm catching up to where I should be though.  This card is a simple one that could easily be mass produced.  I stamped and silver heat embossed the garland banner across the top as well as the bold sentiment.

I then used a blender brush and Catherine's inks to color in the leaves, berries and flowers in the garland banner.

ENJOY THE LITTLE THINGS

Hi friends!  I've got a notecard size card to share with you all today using the Global Adventure release from Catherine Pooler.  I used direct to paper to make Dress Blues paper, I stamped the hippo over top and die cut it out using the coordinating die.  I also stamped the hat using midnight ink and die cut it out.

I created some texture on the background by die cutting the half circle cover plate die and adhering just the half circles onto the card base.  I then flicked some Dress Blues ink over top and added the hippo and a white heat embossed sentiment on a banner die cut.

MUCHAS GRACIAS

Happy Monday friends!  I've got another card today using the Take a Peek & World of Thanks Sentiments stamp sets & the Wavy Lines stencil.  I stamped and die cut the zebra, set it aside while I worked on my card panel.  I ink blended some Uptown & Glam inks in the area of the die cut circle.  After getting a good blend, I placed the stencil over top and spritzed with Glimmer Spritz.  This created a bit of fun texture to the background.

I stamped the sentiment using midnight ink and added some black & white twine to finish off my card.

COLOR HUES # 28 - RED & KRAFT

Hi friends!  Welcome to my post for Color Hues Challenge #28!  This time we are challenging you to use Red & Kraft for your card or project.

I love using Red & Kraft for Christmas cards.  I created a mini slimline card using a stencil & die from Catherine Pooler.  The snowflake was created by sponging white pigment ink, I could have used some paste, but this was quick and easy to do and is also pretty flat for mailing.  I used the direct to paper technique to color my card stock and die cut the Merry Christmas from it.  Pretty simple card and easy to mass produce.

THANKS IN PORTUGUESE-OBRIGADO

Happy Friday friends!  I've got another card to share today using the new Global Adventure release.  This card features the Cheetah from the Take a Peek stamp set and coordinating die, some patterned paper from the Across the Globe paper pack and a sentiment in Portuguese from the World of Thanks Sentiments stamp set.  Of course, I had to use the new Luxe inks!

I stamped the sentiment using my Misti in rainbow Luxe colors.  I white heat embossed one sentiment onto a strip of black card stock so that I could add the peeking cheetah over top.

I added a strip of the Across the Globe patterned paper to the left side of my card.  I love this fun pattern with all the colors.

BE STRONG

Hi friends!  I'm still playing with the new Global Adventure goodies released yesterday from Catherine Pooler.

Today's card features the Take a Peek stamp set & the gorgeous Across the Globe Patterned Paper Pack.

I created a notecard size card and cut a strip of the gorgeous floral paper from the pack and added that to my card front.  I then stamped the giraffe using midnight ink and the sentiment using Glam ink.  A super simple card to create, but the patterned paper really shines on this card.

I love the images in this set!  I can't decide which one is my favorite.  It's a tie between the giraffe and zebra.
