GRATEFUL

Hi friends!  I've got some bright, rainbow cards to share today using the Eternal Flame Cover Plate Die and the Grateful word die just released from Catherine's Winter on Main Street Collection.  I love that even though this is a winter collection, you can use this die for many different seasons.

I started by ink blending on a piece of card stock.  I blended down the panel in rainbow order across the top half of the card stock.  After it was blended, I used some Gansai Tambi watercolors to add some splatters.

I die cut the ink blended panel and tried to keep all the bits inside so I could adhere them to a card front using a second die cut panel as a guide when gluing the bits back inside.

After finishing gluing all the bits onto the card front, I took the ink blended panel that was die cut and adhered that to my second card front.  I then die cut the Grateful word die and it's coordinating layer using black and white card stock.  I adhered them to the card fronts and added some black and white twine to one card to finish it off.

YOUR GENEROSITY IS BEYOND WORDS

Hi friends!  I've got another card to share today using the One of a Kind stamp set & the Inside Out Gratitude sentiments stamp set.  I used my MISTI to stamp the biggest snowflake in the set.  I used three different shades of blue to create an ombre snowflake.  After stamping it in the blues, I stamped it with an embossing ink and then embossed it using Halo embossing glitter.  It sparkles and shines in real life.

I die cut the snowflake out and adhered it to my panel using foam tape.  I stamped the beautiful sentiment using Midnight ink and adhered that panel to my card base.  A few Crater Lake sequins on the snowflake finish off this card.  How beautiful would this snowflake be in ombre pink or purple?!  You could also easily make this a Christmas card by stamping a holiday sentiment.

I've got another card to share today using the collection.

I love this lantern in the Warm & Bright stamp set.  I used an oval die to cut a window.  I ink blended a night sky background on my card base and then stamped the lantern using midnight ink.  I added some splatters to mimic snow falling.  I adhered the panel with the oval window using dimensionals.

I added a white heat embossed sentiment on a black die cut banner and that finishes off this card.

I've got another set of cards to share today using the new Metallic inks and the One of a Kind stamp set and dies.

I had lots of fun trying out these new pigment inks on different card stock.  This time I used kraft card stock and love the results.

I set my snowflake stamps up in my MISTI and started stamping the snowflakes using the different inks.  After stamping I sprayed the fixative over top and let it dry.  I then trimmed down the panels and layered them over a piece of white card stock that is 1/2" larger than the panel.

You can see the shine a bit better in this photo.  I then layered those over top a kraft card base and added some coordinating sequins to the center to each snowflake and added a sentiment from the Holiday One Liners sentiment set previously released!

Get ready to add more bling to your stamped projects with our Metallic Pigment Inks! These beautiful metallic inks are thick and rich in color and catch the light with shimmer and shine!

See these inks in action and learn more on this Youtube Video.

I had a ton of fun playing with these new pigment inks and the One of a Kind Stamp set & coordinating die set.  I stamped the middle snowflake in each color of ink onto white card stock and then stamped the smaller snowflake using each color onto black card stock.  Since these are pigment inks and take longer to dry, I found using a spray fixative was my best option.  I took the stamped pieces outside and sprayed the fixative over top and let that dry for a bit then I die cut the snowflakes using the coordinating dies.

The photos really don't capture the shine, but in real life these colors are gorgeous.

Stay tuned over the next few days to see all the new products coming for winter!
