Jesus-The Reason for the Season

Hi Friends!
I am sharing a clean and simple card today that I created and mass produced when I realized I didn't make enough cards throughout the year.  I was short about 50.  YIKES!!!  Thankfully, my MISTI came in handy and made creating these a breeze.

I used the wreath stamp from the stamp set Wonderful Wreath by Catherine Pooler Designs.  This set was part of the Stamp of Approval Lovely Notes Collection.  I stamped it twice to make a fuller wreath.  The berries are from the stamp set Merry & Bright also by Catherine Pooler and is part of the Stamp of Approval Candy Cane Lane collection.  The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.  I couldn't capture it in the photo, but the "Jesus" die is sparkly.  :)

I am adding this card over at Christmas Card Challenges.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

HOLIDAY WRAP UP BUNDLE - THANK YOU NOTES

Hi everyone!  I have some exciting news to share with you today.  Catherine Pooler's Foundations Box that was recently launched and sold out in 15 hours will be back in stock real soon and ready for shipping next week!  Just in time for you to purchase as a gift for a special loved one or even for yourself.  WOOT!!!!

She also has a great new Holiday wrap-up bundle.  Perfect to finish up your holiday cards (inside and out) tags, and thank you notes for after the holiday craziness.  You can purchase each of the items individually or in a bundle at a discounted price.

Here’s a list of the products included in this mini release:

I decided to make a set of Thank you notes using the Holiday Mittens stamp set and coordinating die along with the Still Smiling stamp set.

I used the 4 different color ink pads that were released by Catherine in the Foundations Box.  The different patterns on the mittens are so adorable.  Love!!!

I even stamped and coordinated the envelopes.

Here they are all packaged up in a clear box with a cute mitten tag.

I plan to make up another set of these and give them as gifts to my family.

Catherine has also put together some great gift ideas for the paper crafter in your life in her Paper Crafter's Gift Guide.   Or, you can also just share the link to the gift collection in her shop with your partner so YOU can get some awesome crafty goodness for the holidays, too!

Orders placed by no later than December 19 should arrive by Christmas on U.S. orders, but I would definitely recommend ordering sooner rather than later to ensure it arrives on time!

See that Friendship Bracelet- If you don’t know the story behind these bracelets, please go read about it HERE! The bracelets comes free in the Foundations Box but Catherine wanted to make sure all of you had a chance to purchase one if you’d like so they are now for sale at the shop.  I am planning on purchasing a few of these to give to friends and family.  :)

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

Just Because & Thinking of you

Hi friends!
I have two cards to share with you today using some stamps from the Foundations Box by Catherine Pooler.  For both of my cards I used kraft card stock, white pigment ink and then dye inks.  I love the look when stamping first using white pigment ink then stamping slightly off using dye inks.

I used rainbow colors on my first card and then more fall colors on this Thinking of you card.  The stamps and sentiments are in the stamp set called Amazing Floral.

That is all from me for today.
Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

Merry & Bright

Happy Friday everyone!

I am back sharing another Clean & Simple, one layer card using the stamps & inks from the Foundations Box.  The first supply of the box has sold out but, you can still order.  It will just take a bit longer to be shipped out to you.  Totally worth the wait though.  :)

For my card today I stamped the row of circles from the For Everything stamp set using a light gray ink (not included in the box but you could use the black ink and stamp off) to create a background for my tree.  I love that the dots show through the tree ever so subtly.  Great way to add the look of dimension on a one layer card.  I added some black & white twine to finish off my card.  While I had my supplies out I wanted to try this design on Kraft card stock using different colors for the trees and white pigment ink for the circles.

I love how these turned out!

You can whip up a bunch of these in no time.

*ETA:  Adding the top card over are Merry Monday: Use gray, red, & white.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

Foundations Box Blog Hop

Hi everyone!
Welcome to the Foundations Box blog hop!  You should have arrived here from Catherine's blog.  If not, make sure you head over there to start from the beginning.

I am super excited to be a part of this blog hop.   I would have loved for this box to have been available 18 years ago when I first started stamping.  It is SO perfect for the beginner stamper, BUT even the experienced stamper will want these stamp sets, inks, block & paper in their stash!

The Foundations Box includes 3 stamp sets, 5 ink pads, a clear block and a pack of CP Designs Cardstock! The box will sell for $67 and includes everything a brand new stamper needs to sit down and make a card right away. No other supplies necessary! The products in this box are also staple products for EVERY stampers’ craft room.

There is also a little somethin' extra special that will be included in this box.  Watch your emails this evening (Catherine's newsletter subscribers will receive an email with a special video about the somethin' somethin').  I can't wait for you all to find out about this, it is so very amazing!

Here is my first card using the Spot On stamp set.

I am so in love with the bold circle images with the sentiment negatives inside.  There are three, one says wishes, Congrats & Happy!  So fun!  Look at the other fun patterned circles that come in the set too!  I love them all, but my fave is the one with the tiny dots that go big to small.  See it?!

My next card uses Amazing Floral and a sentiment from For Everything.

I created a fun one layer Christmas card using one of the leaves from the floral set to create a snowflake!  I love to think outside the box with my stamps to be able to get more use out of them.

My last card is a stepped up card using the For Everything stamp set.

I love that I could create a Coffee Cup Christmas Tree!!!  So fun, right?!

The box will go on sale tomorrow morning at 9am EST, StampNation members will get the link one hour earlier (one perk of being a member).  When the box sells out, Catherine will continue to accept orders, it will just take several weeks to receive it.

Leave comments along the hop for your chance to win this boxOne winner will be randomly chosen from all the comments on the hop.  The winner will be announced tomorrow morning at 9am when ordering opens.  You have 24 hours to comment.  Good Luck!

Merry Christmas

Hi everyone!
I am sharing a fun one layer, easy to mass produce, Christmas card using the stamps from the Stamp of Approval Candy Cane Lane Collection.  I randomly stamped the candy canes in red and green then filled in with the blue peppermint candies.  Added my sentiment in black and a strip of black card stock along the bottom and voila, finished card!  :)

Merry & Bright

Hi everyone!
I am popping in quickly on this Friday morning to share a card I created for Christmas Card Challenges: Anything Goes.
I used Papertrey Ink's Splits: Best Wishes Stamp set for the greenery down the side and a sentiment from Verve.  The red dots were added using stickles for a bit of dimension and shine.

I also wanted to share a peek of my card over at StampNation.
This week's challenge was to add a pumpkin/s to our cards.

Hello for CAS(E) this Sketch!

Hi everyone!
I had some time this morning to play along with the awesome sketch over at CAS(E) this Sketch!

This sketch sings to my CAS heart!  I love how this leaf turned out.  I first stamped the Mini Scenery: Multifaceted stamp by Winnie & Walter onto water color cardstock.  Heat embossed using gold embossing powder then used Color Bursts to add color.  I then die cut using a leaf from My Favorite Things.  I love that the color burst powders give it a realistic look.  The colors are just beautiful here in the North West corner of Connecticut!  Recognize this leaf Michele?!!  :)

It is hard to see in the photo, but I scored lines down the front panel to represent the darker piece in the sketch.  Recognize that Hello stamp?  It is from the Hello World stamp set designed by Chaitali for Catherine Pooler Designs.  You still have time to purchase this stamp set to help a school in Boston purchase computers.  Read more here!

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!!!

Hello World Blog Hop

Hi everyone!  Happy World Card Making Day!

Today I am so excited to be participating in a fun blog hop that "gives back"!  You should have arrived here from Miriam Prantner's blog.  If not, you can start at the beginning on Catherine's blog.

Catherine has wanted to add a "Giving Back" element to her business for some time now and NOW is the time and perfect opportunity for our card making community to help "give back" by helping to raise money to purchase computers for Jennifer Ingle's husband's class in Boston.  You can read more here:   https://www.donorschoose.org/project/chromebooks-for-urban-education/2208813/

YOU can help by purchasing a brand new stamp & die set illustrated by Chaitali Narla for Catherine Pooler Designs called Hello World.  All profits from the sale of this stamp set and the coordinating dies from Saturday Oct. 1-Friday, Oct. 7 will purchase computers and other school supplies for Sean's classroom.  So cool, right?!!!

Here are a couple cards I created using the Hello World stamp set and dies.

As you can see on my card there are many different "hello" and "Hi" stamps in several languages with fun greetings to stamp with it to tie in all the elements above.  I decided to use all of the big sentiment images on my card.  I placed them where I wanted them on my clear block then stamped and heat embossed using silver pearl embossing powder.  I then masked off the edges using post it tape and sponged to create a colorful focal point.  I then stamped, embossed and die cut the biggest hello stamp from the set.  Attached that to my card along with a heat embossed friend sentiment that comes in the set.

Here is another card I wanted to share.

This card uses one of the Hello's in the Hello World stamp set, but it also uses the amazing Yay Stripes! stamp set that Catherine designed and has for sale today in her store.  :)  Awesome, right?!

Make sure you head on over to Catherine's blog to watch her video sharing how this "giving back" promotion came about.

Click here to visit the store and help us raise funds to open the world for these kids through computers!

Your next stop on the hop is the amazing Amy Scheffer.

Here is the full hop list.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!
