PLAID HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Hi friends!  I've got a notecard size card to share with you all today using the Paradise Plaid Patterned paper pack from Catherine Pooler!  I love this paper pack so much!  I trimmed strips of the different colors and adhered them to a piece of scrap paper.

I die cut a scallop layer from white card stock to add some more texture.  The sentiment is from The Greetery and I added some Crater Lake sequins to finish this card off.

Just an FYI to everyone if you don't already know, we are moving next week to Kentucky from Connecticut.  So if you don't see much on my blog for the next couple of weeks you will know why.  I have one post already scheduled for Color Hues, but other than that it will be pretty quiet around here.  Thank you always for visiting!

Have a great day!

Hi friends!  Welcome to my post for Color Hues Challenge #39!  This time we are challenging you to use Purple & Green for your card or project.

I used some patterned paper I had in my stash and added a strip across the bottom of my card.  I then die cut a rectangle piece of card stock and stamped my sentiment and added a bloom colored in with blender pens and CP ink.

USE A COVER PLATE DIE ON ONLY PART OF YOUR CARD!!

Hi friends!  Happy Thursday!  I've got a fun card to share today using the Ex Libris Collection.  I used both the Cross Your X's & Stitch your Diamonds cover plate dies to create a fun element along the bottom of my card.  I backed the die cuts with black card stock for a bit more contrast.

I stamped and die cut the floral image and colored the leaves in with Copics and the flowers with a blender pen and CP ink.  I die cut the same die 3 times from black card stock and adhered them all together.  I glued the colored one on top of the black die cuts.  This adds a little dimension to the flower.  I stamped the sentiment using Midnight ink.

MORE EX LIBRIS COLLECTION!

Hi friends!  Happy Tuesday!  I've got a couple cards to share today using the Filigree Background stamp & the Notable & Quotable stamp set.  These are super simple cards to put together.  You could make a set of these to give as a gift.

I stamped the Filigree Background stamp onto a piece of white card stock and trimmed it down and adhered it to my card front.  I then trimmed a piece of white card stock to add to the other side along with a small strip of Apricot colored card stock.

I stamped the floral image in Apricot on the white panel and then stamped the sentiment over top.

Here is another card, this time using Ginger ink and Twilight for the floral image.

I switched the cards up by using a different sentiment and floral image.  You could also switch it up more by moving the Filigree Background image to the right side of the card and having the sentiment panel on the left hand side.  So many possibilities!

WE WERE TOGETHER, I FORGET THE REST.

Hi friends!  I'm back today with another card using the Ex Libris Collection from Catherine Pooler.  I love the Filigree Background stamp so much.  It looks amazing stamped in all the colors. Today I used the new Wintergreen color.

I used direct to paper with my Wintergreen ink pad to get Wintergreen card stock and die cut it using the rectangle Ex Libris die.  I trimmed off the ends to give a little different look.  Stamped one of the sentiments from the Notable & Quotable stamp set and added some Crater Lake Sequins to finish off this card.

EX LIBRIS-FOREVER IS COMPOSED OF NOWS

Hi everyone!  Happy Friday!  I'm back sharing the card I created using the Cross Your X's & Stitch your Diamonds cover plate dies from Catherine's Ex Libris Collection.  I posted this card yesterday using some of the leftover pieces from this card.

I colored my white paper with Catherine's inks and then die cut each of the cover plates.  I adhered the Stitch Your Diamonds in Cover Blue to my card base and then used the smaller diamonds that were cut out from the Tranquil, Cross Your X's cover plate die and adhered them over top the big diamonds.

I stamped and white heat embossed one of the sentiments from the Notable & Quotable stamp set onto a piece of black card stock and then die cut it using the Ex Libris die.  I die cut the frame from white card stock.  I adhered them together and added them to my card using dimensional adhesive.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

EX LIBRIS-HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Hi friends!  Happy Thursday!  I've got another card to share today using the Ex Libris Collection released yesterday from Catherine Pooler!  I'm loving the Stitch Your Diamonds and Cross Your X's Cover plate dies.   So many different ways you can use them in your card making.

I dry embossed the Stitch Your Diamonds Cover Plate on my card front and then used pieces that were leftover from die cutting both the cover plates from colored card stock.  I colored the card stock with CP inks before die cutting.

I'll be back tomorrow with the card using the colored cover plates.  I added a simple happy birthday sentiment to this card.

EX LIBRIS COLLECTION AVAILABLE TODAY FOR STAMPNATION MEMBERS!!!

Hi friends!  Happy Tuesday!  The Ex Libris Collection is available today at Noon ET for StampNation members.  It will be available tomorrow for everyone!

I've got another card to share today using the collection.

I used the Stitch your Diamonds cover plate die to create a white on white textured background.  I then die cut the circle Ex Libris Die from white card stock and set that aside.  I stamped & die cut one of the flower images from the Notable & Quotable stamp set and colored it with a blender pen and CP inks.

After coloring the floral image, I adhered it to the Ex Libris tag and stamped a sentiment.  I attached the tag to my card base and added some Crater Lake sequins to finish off this card.

EX LIBRIS COLLECTION - THANKS

Hi everyone!  The newest Collection from Catherine Pooler Designs, Ex Libris, along with the Apothecary inks, will be available next week!  StampNation members get to order early on April 5th.  General ordering opens on April 6th.

I'm sharing another card today using the gorgeous Filigree Background & Notable & Quotable stamp set.

I stamped the background stamp using It's a Girl ink and then trimmed a piece of card stock to 1 1/2".  I added a strip of It's a Girl card stock to the white piece and adhered that to my card front.

I stamped and die cut one of the flowers from the Notable & Quotable stamp set and colored it in with a blender pen and CP inks.  I used a thanks sentiment from the Handwritten Thank You Sentiments stamp set.  This would make a great set of thank you cards, you could stamp the background in a bunch of different colors and color in the flower with the coordinating color.
