Hi friends! Happy Thursday! I've got a fun card to share today using the Ex Libris Collection. I used both the Cross Your X's & Stitch your Diamonds cover plate dies to create a fun element along the bottom of my card. I backed the die cuts with black card stock for a bit more contrast.
I stamped and die cut the floral image and colored the leaves in with Copics and the flowers with a blender pen and CP ink. I die cut the same die 3 times from black card stock and adhered them all together. I glued the colored one on top of the black die cuts. This adds a little dimension to the flower. I stamped the sentiment using Midnight ink.

ReplyDeleteLoving the effect of your layered cover plate die cuts and how it contrasts with the simplicity of the top of your card. Great idea to stack black die cuts to give the illusion of a shadow. Thanks for joining us at STAMPlorations CAS.
