Celebrate Friends Stamp of Approval Blog Hop - Day 3

Hi everyone!  Welcome to Day 3 of the Celebrate Friends SOA Collection Blog Hop!  You should have arrived here from Ardyth's blog.  The complete list is below if you get lost along the way.

The collection goes up for sale on  April 24th at 9am to those on the Wait List.
Ordering will then be open of the public (6pm EST) if the collection hasn't sold out already.

StampNation members that are on the Wait List will be notified first (a little perk of being a member!) and then the rest of the Wait List will be contacted!

**The box is only available while supplies last.**
Make sure that you are on the >> Wait List << to be notified when it is available!

The box contains products that can be used together to create many different cards.  They can also be used along with products you already have in your stash!  Awesome!!!  I have had a blast creating cards using this collection.  AND included in this collection is a NEW Mystery Ink!!  Any guesses as to what color it may be??

This collection is a fun one and you get to choose whether you want the Cuppa Tea Stamp Set & Bordering Sweet Border dies or the Perfect Blend Stamp Set & the Morning Joe Dies or BOTH!

I received the Cuppa Tea Stamp set & Bordering Sweet Border Dies and have a couple cards to share with you using these supplies.

I am definitely a tea drinker so this set is perfect for me.  I love the tea cups in this set, but the tea bag stole my heart!  It's just so perfect with the little heart in the tag.  I also love the different stamps included in the set to stamp inside the middle of the tea cups.  While I had my supplies out I create a card set with the Spa Collection inks.

This photo shows the two different cups that come in the set along with the different stamps for the tea cup center.  Aren't the coasters fun?!!!  The Cuppa Tea dies will be an Add-on and do not come in the collection.

AND look at this amazing tea pot!!!  I love that you can stamp the pot in one color and add the top and bottom in a different color.  There is also a stamp for the whole floral image that fits perfectly inside the tea pot to give it more color.  For this card I stamped the floral image using Party Dress ink and then used the coordinating die to just cut the flower to add to the center of my tea pot.  LOVE!!!  Look at the steam coming from the cup, so sweet!

It's time now to start hopping along, BUT before you go, make sure you leave comments on each stop along the way for your chance to win!  Your next stop on the hop is Justine!

One winner will be chosen at random from EACH day's comments and announced on April 26th on Catherine's blog.  3 random winners will be chosen to win a $97 Gift Certificate to the shop.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

How sweet and fun is this stamp set?!!!  I love the different cakes and cupcakes you can create with this set.  So many options.  Change up your color scheme and you get a totally different look.  This card uses the Spa Inks, but would look amazing using the Party Collection as well.  The stand was embossed using Silver Embossing powder.

This card uses just one of the cupcake stamps, but stamped in a rainbow using the Party Collection inks.  So fun!!!  These cupcakes would totally make my birthday if they were real!  LOL

This card features the fun Punctuated Party Stamp Set!  I only used a few of the stamps that come in the set on this card, it's definitely a must have in your stash.

I also create a masculine card using this same stamp set.

Fun, right?!!!  I am totally LOVING this color combo for masculine cards and these fun half circle stamps are so amazing.  This card could also become a feminine card by using pinks, purples, & yellows.

Thank you for visiting!  I will be back tomorrow & Monday with more posts.  I hope you will stop back.

Stenciled Corners // Right at Home Stamps + Catherine Pooler Ink Blog Hop

Hi everyone!  I'm very excited to be participating in a blog hop with Right at Home Stamps and Catherine Pooler Inks.  Right at Home Stamps will be carrying CP Inks in their store.  WOOT!

Here is my card using His Love stamp set by Right at Home and of course, using CP inks (my go-to inks)!

I started my card by stenciling a portion of the Square Dance Stencil in the two corners of my card using Aquatini ink.  I then stamped and die cut the floral swags from the Grateful Heart stamp set.  To get color on my flowers I simply used the back of the floral stamp to stamp the orange and teal flowers.  I love using this trick since I am not a great at coloring images.

I then stamped the sentiment from His Love in the center of my card using Midnight ink and finished off my card with some sparkly clear sequins.

Celebrate Everything

Hi friends!  Happy Friday!  I'm sharing a fun birthday card with you all today using the amazing Doin the Polka background stamp and the Good Things sentiment stamp set!

I started by stamping my sentiment using Midnight ink and then quickly covering it with clear embossing powder.  After stamping on my card base I stamped it onto a piece of post it paper to create a mask.

I then stamped and white heat embossed the polka dot background.  I masked off the strip focused around the sentiment and sponged using shades of blues.

I will add this over at Seize the Birthday: No topping.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

Wonderful friend

Hi everyone, HAPPY FRIDAY!

I am sharing another card with the lovely Grateful Heart stamp set and new Wonderful word die by Catherine Pooler.

I started my card by stamping the biggest floral swag on the bottom of my piece of card stock.  I didn't do any masking to stamp the flowers blue and the leaves green, I just inked and let the colors overlap where they did.  After stamping the bottom I turned the paper around in my MISTI and stamped the top using the same technique.

I then die cut it using the Tags Etc. dies.  I die cut the Wonderful word die from white card stock and inked it up with Silvery Shimmer ink and then heat set it with clear embossing powder.  The shine and sparkle in real life is so pretty.  The Friend stamp comes from the Simply the Best stamp set.  A few sparkly clear sequins finish off this simple card.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

Hello

Hi everyone!  I have a card just for fun to share with you all today.  It is gray, rainy and cold here today, so I thought I would brighten up my blog by posting this rainbow card.

I created the rainbow background using my Zig Clean Color Brush markers.  I just scribbled color in stripes and then spritzed with water to blend the colors.  I love how bright and bold these markers are.  The flower is white heat embossed onto black cardstock and the leaves are stamped using Midnight ink.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

Ink Spray Birthday Cards

Hi everyone!  There is a new class going on now over on StampNation called Eat, Sleep, Create.  It is a Mixed Media Class for card makers!

The first couple of tutorials went up last week and another one was posted this morning.  The first couple of lessons are about Art Journaling and today's lesson is about using the Art Journaling techniques on ATCs (Artist Trading Cards).

I have not gotten into Art Journaling and am not a big Mixed Media fan, but I can definitely use the techniques shared in the class on my hand made cards.  I was a bit intimidated at first with this class because I am definitely a clean and simple card maker, but I have found ways to use the techniques on my clean and simple cards.

Today's card show just how I did that.

I grabbed some watercolor card stock and my Dylusions ink sprays and had some fun getting inky with the ink dripping technique.  Basically you spray your ink sprays one at a time towards the top of your paper and then spritz with some water and let the sprays drip down your paper.  Let gravity do the work for you.  I love the bold colors you get from the ink sprays.

I then took a stencil and placed it randomly over the panel and swiped with a baby wipe which removed some of the ink and created a ghosting effect.

Here is a close up.

Stamp a sentiment and add a strip of Black Tie Gala paper at the bottom.  Twine finishes off my card.  Below is another card using different colors.

If you aren't a member of StampNation, now is the time to join.  Click HERE for more info.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!
