Hi everyone! Welcome to the Stamp of Approval blog hop. Today myself and many of my favorite designers are sharing cards using the Candy Cane Lane collection. The box goes up for sale Wednesday at 10am. StampNation members get the sales link one hour earlier at 9am EST!
**The box is only available while supplies last.**
Make sure that you are on the Wait List to be notified when it is available.
The box contains products that can be used together to create many
different cards. They can also be used along with products you already
have in your supplies! Awesome!!
Today I am featuring a card using the Peppermint Stick Background, Merry & Bright Boughs & Candy Cane Lane stamp sets by Catherine Pooler Designs. Also the Candy Cane Lane matching dies and Merry Labels Dies by CAS-ual Fridays.
I have used many different stamps/dies in this collection on my card and look how amazing they work/look together. That is one thing I love about these collections, Catherine takes the time to make sure they all work well together. I can also see myself using these goodies with stamps/dies I already have in my stash!
I stamped and embossed the amazing background stamp using Silver Pearl embossing powder. Love the tone on tone effect this gives on white paper. I then used the biggest label die to cut a window in the center to allow for stamping and embellishments using the adorable candy canes. I love the different patterns on the candy canes and the cute little holly/berries and bows that you can add to the top for embellishment.
My second card uses the Candy Cane Lane stamp set.
I am such a huge fan of these peppermint candies. I not only enjoy using them on my cards, but I also enjoy eating them. ;) I stamped then die cut several in red and green. To get them straight on my card, I used a ruler to draw a light pencil line at an angle across my card. I glued the first row down following the pencil line and that made it easy to glue the rest down by adding them in the centers of the above row. I love the design this created. I stamped the sentiment following the angle of the candies and added a small rhinestone to each candy. Super cute, clean and pretty simple card to create.
It's now time to start hopping along, but before you go make sure to leave a comment on each stop along the hop. THREE lucky commenters will win a Stamp of Approval box. The more times you comment, the more chances you will have to win!
You've got until Thursday at 9:00AM EST to get those comments in. The winner will be announced on Catherine Pooler's blog! Good luck and happy hopping!
