Merry Monday #162

 

 Hi everyone!
Time for another Merry Monday Challenge.
This week I am your challenge hostess and I challenge you to create a Christmas card using a tag(s).


I stamped the letters J O & Y onto cardstock using Memento Tuxedo black ink.  After stamping I cut them out using one of the tags from Pretty Pink Posh.  I colored the letters with my Copics, tried to do a bit of shading.  Still practicing here.  Can you see the darker red on the bottom of the letters?  

I attached some silver ribbon using my tiny attacher.  I set those aside to work on the rest of my card.  I trimmed a piece of white cardstock.  Stamped the Diagonal Stripes background stamp using versafine ink and then Irridesent Ice Embossing powder.  Love the sparkly stripes.  To get a matching red cardstock, I took another piece of white and colored just the edges with one of the Copic colors I used to color in my letters.  Perfect match.  I purposely attached my tags a bit cattywompus.  :)
