Merry Monday Challenge #48

Hi friends!  I am very honored to be the Guest Designer this week over at the Merry Monday challenge site.  Our challenge this week is a color challenge.

This was truly a challenge for me to come up with a Christmas card using these colors.  :)  I have never associated these colors with Christmas.  Here is what I came up with.

I CASEd Chat's card over at Me, My stamps and I.  I love the simplicity of it and these colors are growing on me.

Cardstock:  Basic Gray, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White,
Ink:  Basic Gray, Marina Mist & Pumpkin Pie
Stamps:  Four Seasons, Greetings of the Season
Accessories:  Snowflake die (SU!), circle punch, rhinestone

I actually made another card CASEing my friend Catherine. She made her card  for a sketch challenge over at StampNation using this sketch, (scroll down a bit).
Here it is....

I would love to see what you all come up with for Christmas cards using these colors.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

Cardstock:  Basic Gray, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, Brights DSP, Marina Mist
Ink:  Basic Gray, Marina Mist
Stamps:  Chock-full of Cheer, Oh, Hello
Accessories:  Oval framelits, scallop border punch, Lil' Inker bell die, baker's twine

  1. Congrats on being Guest Designer, Kristie! How funny your card has almost the same snowflake as the ones used to announce what the colors should be, now that's being true to a challenge! Love the topic for these cards ... the orange certainly keeps them from being Chirstmas-y!

  3. Congrats on being a Guest Designer this week! You rocked these colors, even if they don't make you think of Christmas. The layered snowflake is really pretty, but I'm especially smitten with the oval window and the wide banner on your second card!
