Hi friends! I am sharing my card for Muse #5. I was totally inspired by Marion's use of washi tape to create her background and since I have a limited supply of washi tape, only green and red, I was inspired to make another Christmas card. :)
I love Marion's colorful, textured washi. Such a fun card. Thank you for the inspiration Marion.
Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

This is awesome Kristie! I love your take on the Muse card! I'm slowly making my way into using washi tape, you did an awesome job with it here. I haven't quite found my groove with it just yet.
ReplyDeleteThis looks fantastic! I love it!
ReplyDeleteI never know what to do with my washi (though I keep buying it), but I just have to try this! What an awesome mix of patterns, and the thin black mat really frames it perfectly.
ReplyDeleteLove your use of Washi tape. The matted background and rhinestones are great accents. Great take on the Muse;)
ReplyDeleteI've resisted buying washi tape but after seeing a number of cards inspired by the Muse challenge, I just may have to break down. Your Christmas one turned out great.

ReplyDeleteFabulous as always Kristie, I think I need to invest in some washi tape, looks like great fun with fab results x
ReplyDeleteYou can never have too many Christmas cards! I love the way you've used washi tape exclusively to create your background. Adhering it on an angle really adds interest, too! Love it!
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love! I'm going to pin this... might have to use it for Christmas card next year! Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteKristie, wow, this is just beautiful and you are quite the head start on your Christmas cards too. You have such an incredible gift too, so creative.
ReplyDeleteThis is so clever. I love the angle, and how you put the sentiment right between the rows of tape.
ReplyDeleteOK, your card is the first time I've seen washi tape used where I actually LIKE it! I was given some at Christmas and figured I'd give it away, but now I'm inspired to try it! Love how you've put yours on the diagonal - gives the card so much more energy!
ReplyDeleteI love it, Kristie. Seeing your interpretation of Marion's MUSE card as a Christmas card is fabulous. Outside the box, inside the creative genius!!
ReplyDeleteSaw your card on 'muse' and love how you used the washi tape.
ReplyDeleteIt looks fab! I haven't got any washi tape, but I'd love to try this with strips of DP.
