Papertrey 6th Anniversary

Yesterday's challenge at Papertrey Inks 6th Anniversary celebration was to create a project utilizing one of the sketches:  I chose this one.

I am also sharing my card for Retro sketches.

 Here is the sketch.

These two cards will be going to my nephews for upcoming birthdays.  I think the stars and sentiments are perfect for them.
Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

  1. Ok, these are some of the most dynamic takes on sketches yet! You are rockin' these sketches!! Especially love the first one because I personally would have had a problem with that sketch, but you executed it better than perfect! LOVE the zigzags! (I never would have thought of that.) And I love how the star barely peeks over the edge on the second one. GREAT JOB, Kristie!

  2. These are both great cards for guys! That first sketch would have stumped me, but you nailed it! And I love the pop of the black with the yellow! Great job on both challenges, Kristie!

  3. Kristie, both of your cards are so fun! I love your idea of the orange zig zags and the cold black star, fabulous!

  4. Super fun cards. Love how you used the stars in two totally different ways.

  5. Awesome cards, Kristie! I love your take on the sketches! Fabulous stars!

  6. Love your take on the sketch with the first card, really creative! Both are great guy cards, nice work again Kristie!

  7. Love how you stuck with the star theme for both of your samples. Fun cards!
