Papertrey 6th Anniversary

Yesterday's challenge at Papertrey Inks 6th Anniversary celebration was to create a project utilizing one of the sketches:  I chose this one.

I am also sharing my card for Retro sketches.

 Here is the sketch.

These two cards will be going to my nephews for upcoming birthdays.  I think the stars and sentiments are perfect for them.
Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

  1. Ok, these are some of the most dynamic takes on sketches yet! You are rockin' these sketches!! Especially love the first one because I personally would have had a problem with that sketch, but you executed it better than perfect! LOVE the zigzags! (I never would have thought of that.) And I love how the star barely peeks over the edge on the second one. GREAT JOB, Kristie!

  2. These are both great cards for guys! That first sketch would have stumped me, but you nailed it! And I love the pop of the black with the yellow! Great job on both challenges, Kristie!
