WISHING YOU A HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Hi friends!  Happy Tuesday!  How fun is this wonky birthday cake in rainbow colors?!  I just love this cake and wanted to create each layer with the colors in rainbow order.  On the top layer I stamped the dots using Orange Twist ink and then stamped over top of them again and clear heat embossed so they would resist the pink ink stamped over top from the solid cake layer.  I stamped the green squiggly lines first and then clear heat embossed them.  I stamped using Limoncello ink over top using the solid stamp.  The clear embossing resisted the yellow ink and kept the green a bright green color.   For the bottom layer I used Fiesta Blue ink for the solid layer and then flirty fuchsia over top with the dots.

I embossed the frosting layers in between with Disco Ball Embossing glitter.  I added some Crater Lake sequins to cover up some ink smooshes.  The sentiment is from the Happy Birthday Many Ways stamp set and the striped paper is from the Black Tie Gala paper pack.
