Happy Monday friends. I had such a fun time making this card. I woke up the other morning with this idea and couldn't wait to put it to paper. I love color blocking and I don't use it enough on my cards. Thankfully, the CAS-ual Fridays challenge this week is color blocks and Dynamic duos colors are Pool Party & Lucky Limeade. Two fantastic colors together. I also found a new to me challenge site CCEE Stampers and their challenge is to use eyelets on your project. I have a stash of eyelets that I have collected over the years and have not used them in a long time. It is about time I get them out and use them. :)

I love the soft muted background in the photo and wanted to recreate that on my card. I used vellum card stock & white embossing. I also got my inspiration from one of Maureen's cards. I love her cards, all of them. She is also on the Cloud9 inspiration team, I am so happy for her. :)

I also love your color blocked card. I had my hello die out to use for that challenge but I couldn't make it work. But you certainly did. I may have to CASE YOU!
