10 Minute Craft Dash #10

Hi Friends, today is my first time ever playing along with 10 minute Craft Dash challenge #10.   Here is my card...

This was the challenge.....

Pink, gray and green reminded me of flowers/spring.  I searched for the perfect stamps and finally settled on this lovely flower from SU!  I had the card all done and thought it needed a little something extra.   That is when I thought of paper piercing the circle around the top of the flower.  I think it adds just the right touch.  I finished my card in 9 minutes and 10 seconds.  PHEW!!!  This challenge was a fun one but certainly gets your heart pumping to be able to finish it on time.

Cardstock:  Whisper White, Basic Gray (SU!)
Ink:  Basic Gray, Certainly Celery & Pretty in Pink
Stamps:  Summer Silhouettes & Very Vintage Greetings (Wplus9)
Accessories:  Paper Piercing pack (SU!)

I am also sharing a card I made for a Sketch Challenge over at StampNation.  This is challenge #65.  Here is the sketch.

The sketch above is based on a Christmas card my good friend Catherine made a while back.  Her card is amazing and here is my take on the sketch.

If you love inspiration, ideas, exclusive videos, making new friends, etc.  I would encourage you to join StampNation!  It is a wonderful community.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

  1. Oh, this is so pretty! I really like how you added paper piercing around the dandelion- it turned out great.

I'm so thrilled you joined in your first 10 Minute Craft Dash. I hope you'll play along again!

  2. Both cards are lovely. Yes, I like the piercing around the dandelion too--don't have in piercing sets so didn't know they came in circles like this. Really adds just the last little bit.

Love the star card too and the embossing on the star.
