Hi friends! Welcome to my post for Color Hues Challenge #47! This time we are challenging you to use Chocolate & Mint for your card or project.
I created an oval window and backed it with some Two-Toned Brown patterned paper. I then used direct to paper with my Minted ink pad and stamped the leaf image over top with brown ink.
I die cut the leaf image and adhered it to the side of the oval and added the sentiment on a little banner.

Stamping your white card with mint ink before stamping with the chocolate brown is a great way to get the colour right! :)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, I love the chocolate plaid! This is so cute!
ReplyDeleteSuch a fabulous design Kristie and I love how you stamped over top of the handmade mint cardstock. I made my own mint cardstock for my card to using In The Park. I just put in an order for Minted ink!! lol
ReplyDeleteWhat a great combination and so cleverly used Kristie - the result is a lovely card
