HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU

Hi friends!  I've got a fun birthday card to share today using the new Decorative Edge Dies from Catherine Pooler Designs.  I used direct to paper to color some card stock using the colors in the photo.  I then took the chevron die and die cut some chevrons from each color.  I adhered them together to create a colorful background pattern.

After creating the pattern I stamped and white heat embossed the image from the Notable & Quotable stamp sets.  I then die cut a circle from a piece of white card stock and stamped one of the sentiments from the Something For Everyone Sentiments stamp set using Glam ink.  I then adhered that over top the chevron panel.
