You Make Me Smile

Hi everyone!
Happy Saturday!

I am sharing a card I made using the new Zen Garden Release by Catherine Pooler.  Have you been hopping along on the blog hops for the past 4 days?  So much amazing inspiration.  Click HERE to view my post for Day 4.

I used the Zen Feather and coordinating dies on my card today.

I started my card by cutting the fun triangle strip 8 times from white card stock.  I used each of the new ink colors and applied them to the die cut strips using the direct to paper technique.  I glued these onto a piece of white card stock that was die cut using the postage stamp dies from the Love is in the Air collection.

I then stamped and die cut the feather using Midnight ink.  I attached the feather using dimensional adhesive.  Stamped the sentiment and attached the twine to the bottom of the feather.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

A list of supplies I used can be found below, just click on the picture below to be taken to where you can get the product.  I do use some affiliate links when I can, this means I will get a small commission if you choose to purchase the product using my link-this is at no cost to you and helps with the running of my blog.  I really appreciate your love and support!

  1. This was a great way to show off the new ink colors, Kristie. They pop with the black border.

  2. This is a happy card, terrific colors!

  3. Simple stunning Kristie - this is wonderful!

  4. I love how you did direct to paper with the new inks on those triangle die cuts. Great card. Thanks for sharing.
