Hi everyone!
Time for another Merry Monday Challenge.
This week Deanne challenges us to create a Christmas card with your favorite warm beverage.
One of my favorite warm beverages is hot chocolate. The other is tea. I have tea every morning and have hot chocolate every once in a while on cold winter days. Love having marshmallows and a candy cane stuck into my hot chocolate too. YUM!!!
I stamped the candy cane's on the bottom using a border stamp from the SOA Holiday Magic Collection.

So cute. Love that candy cane border!
ReplyDeleteI love the candy cane border, Kristie, but I don't remember a mug in any of the SOA stamps. All my cup stamps are tiny like this one but now I see how I can use them on a card as part of a larger focal image. Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteYour cup of cocoa looks darling on the snowflake, Kristie! Love the candy canes paper at the bottom too!!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute card, love the candy cane cup of cocoa with that sentiment!
ReplyDeleteKristie, as always just a lovely card! Your mind my be operating 24/7 to always come up with such great cards! That candy cane border really sets things off nicely.
ReplyDeleteCute card Kristie. Love the cute cup and the striped paper across the bottom.
ReplyDeleteLove this card Kristie! The cane striping at the bottom is awesome, love the little cup and saucer on the snowflake too. I too love a cup of hot chocolate when it is cold out. My other favorite hot drink is hot spiced apple cider and then my last hot drink is tea. Hope you are staying warm with your favorite hot drink! Hugs, Brenda

....now I'm off to search for a candy cane in my treat cupboard...
This is so pretty!! That stamped peppermint border is amazing!! I could never get this as straight as you did. LOVE the gray snowflake with the embossed hot chocolate too. Adorable card!!

ReplyDeleteDelightful card Kristie.
ReplyDeleteNothing more fun than a candy cane in your hot chocolate, except maybe this card! Very sweet (pardon the pun...). Love the little cup on that happy snowflake. Great card!! Bev
ReplyDeleteGreat color combo Kristie and loving the candycane sticks!
ReplyDeleteI love the peppermint style papers you used Kristie, What a fun card.
ReplyDeleteGreat festive card. Love the candy cane paper on the bottom.
ReplyDeleteGreat candy cane stripes! This is a fabulous way to make a nice card with a small stamp. My only hot drink stamp is a wee one like this and it seemed too small to make a whole card around. Now I know better!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute, sweet card. Love red and white. Have a great day, Kristie.
ReplyDeleteOh, I love how the stripes in your tiny cup match the peppermint stripe paper -- such a darling card!
