Hi everyone!
This week over at StampNation we are celebrating it's 5th birthday with a FREE class for members.
This class will be available for purchase
later this winter, but right now it is being released early and for FREE for StampNation members.
Today's lesson is all about Masking and sponging with stencils.
I love the cards the DT made using this technique and I can't wait to see what the members share.
I used a star die to created a mask using masking paper. After placing the mask onto my cardstock, I secured the circle stencil and then sponged with distress inks going pretty dark with the color. I removed the stencil and used the same colors to lightly fill in the background so the star would stand out more. I then added the smaller die cut star to the center. The sentiment was stamped after adding this awesome frame, which is a sneak peek of one of the dies in the newest Stamp of Approval Young at Heart Collection! YAY!!! It is hard to capture in the photo, but I used wink of stella on the little star and on the frame. Looks so sparkly in real life.
I will be adding this over at Seize the Birthday: Anything goes.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!
