Merry Monday #154


 Hi everyone!
Time for another Merry Monday Challenge.
This week Nina challenges us to create a Vintage Style Christmas card.



This was certainly a challenge for me.  I am not a vintage style cardmaker but I found some awesome patterned paper that was vintagy!  I trimmed it down to fit on my card base and stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso ink. I added a twine bow to finish off my card.

    I love your vintage Santa card Kristie! And I love how you put the sentiment on the chimney.It is perfect there and it is the perfect sentiment for this image. I am loving that paper to by the way. lol Hugs, Brenda

    Gorgeous vintage paper, Kristie! I like how you left a strip of card stock on the left and the twine added the perfect touch!

    This is a perfect example of a CAS, vintage-style card :) Love this image and I really love how clean your card looks.

    Hey, I'm with you in the vintage department....DP would be my only hope too...but chances are I wouldn't have even one single sheet! I love the 'distressed' feel of the picture/paper. A bit of twine is all it needed!
