showCASe your style challenge #9 & WINNER!!!!

Hi everyone!
Clearly Whimsy Stamps has a new challenge blog called showCASe your style.


Have you checked it out yet?  You do NOT have to use Whimsy Stamps products to play along but if you do, the gift certificate will be more if you are the winner!

The challenge runs 2 weeks and this time it's a theme challenge!


Here is how I was inspired.


I used the stamp set Birthday Balloon to create a card for my 15 year old nephew.  This sentiment is perfect for a focal point.  By stamping the banner in orange and fussy cutting it to layer on top adds the perfect pop of color.

    Have I been living under a rock? I've never seen this cool die before! I was sure that you had used 'pinking shears' (do they still exist?) and wondered how you got your corners so perfect! Love the different fonts and how the orange & white pop against your two-tone background!
