Hi friends! Happy Friday. I hope you all had a great week. Today's card is for a few challenges. First is Virginia's View challenge: Stencils, Colour Me: Orange, & Moxie Fab World: Stencils. I used the moroccan stencil with Spiced Marmalade distress ink. Making it darker at the top for a ombre effect. I also used my new mini ink blending tools, LOVE these things. So much easier to use than the rectangle ones.
I stamped the crane from Mama Elephant's Origami set onto watercolor paper. Colored in with Spiced Marmalade Distress Marker then took my water brush and brushed over it. I wasn't happy with it at first but once it dried I loved it. :)
Thank you for visiting and have a great day!
Cardstock: Whisper White, Tim Holtz Watercolor paper
Ink: Spiced Marmalade Distress ink, Versafine black
Stamps: Origami (Mama Elephant)
Accessories: Moroccan Stencil (SSS), Starburst Framelit
Beautifully inked !!! The colors are stunning - awesome, AWESOME job inking up the monochramatic shading! The 'swiped ink' origami crane really does look spectacular!
