Yay! It's your birthday for Lil' Inkers

Hi friends.  I am sharing my card for Lil' Inker's 3rd Birthday celebration. I used the Cover up die: Pierced Chevrons.  Love this die.  I cut it once using whisper white and knew I wanted to fill in each row with the rainbow colors but didn't want to die cut each of the colors so I used my Stampin' Up! markers to color each chevron in the different rainbow colors.  I stamped the sentiment on vellum cardstock and wrapped it around so I didn't have to be creative in hiding my glue.  Stamped a few little stars in black to finish it off.

I was inspired by the yummy looking cake in this photo:

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

Cardstock:  Whisper White, basic black, vellum
Ink:  Versafine black
Stamps:  Stylish Sentiments: Birthday (PTI)
Accessories:  Cover up die: Pierced Chevrons (Lil' Inkers), real red, pumpkin pie, daffodil delight, old olive, pacific point & Rich Razzleberry SU! markers
