Joy, Love, & Peace

Hi friends!  I'm sharing some more Christmas cards today using the Seasonal Sentiments & Borders stamp set.  I colored each card using Catherine's inks and a Zig Blender Pen.  I used traditional Rockin' Red & Lime Rickey inks.

This one I used Flirty Fuchsia and a Zig Blender Pen.

The last one uses Suede Shoes.

Hi everyone!  I'm popping in with a card inspired by the graphic over at Time Out Challenges.

I love these colors for Christmas cards and combined a few different stamp companies on this card.  I have Catherine Pooler Designs, Papertrey Ink and Lil' Inker Designs.  The background stamp is from Catherine, the bow is from Papertrey Ink and the sentiment is from Lil' Inker Designs.

I was able to create 2 cards using the embossed background piece.  Here is my second card.

Joy to the World

Hi everyone!  I have another Christmas card to share with you all using some of the goodies from the All the Trimmings Release.  This card uses the Nested Labels Dies, the gorgeous Flourishes Background Stamp, the Seasonal Sentiments & Borders stamp set.

I started my card by smooshing the Mardi Gras ink pad onto my craft sheet, spritzed with water and then smooshed my water color card stock into it. I dried it with my heat tool, then smooshed again into the color and dried again until I was happy with the colors and textures.  Love this fun technique because you get a different look every single time!

I die cut the piece using one of the Nested Labels Dies and then did some stamping and silver heat embossing using one of the borders.

I stamped and heat embossed the Flourishes Background stamp onto my card base using Wanderlust embossing powder.  I love the sparkle this adds to the card base.  I finished off my card with some black and white twine.

CATHERINE POOLER MINI INK AND CANVO BULLET JOURNAL RELEASE

Hi everyone!  Have you heard Catherine released new MINI ink pads and her new amazing product called Canvo Bullet Journal?!!!!

THE CANVO!!!

The new product called the Canvo Bullet Journal is also releasing.  Catherine was introduced to bullet journaling and bought a bullet journal from a local craft store and started playing with it and noticed there were some flaws that she immediately went to work fixing.  One huge problem was when she stamped on the pages, it bled through to the next page.  With the Canvo, that doesn't happen because the paper is nice and thick.

• Pages measure 7 x 9″
• Dot grid layout
• 150 numbered pages
• Heavy weight pages

Catherine has also released some cute stamp sets to use with the Canvo.  Look at this cute spread she created using some of the images from the stamp sets.

I was actually lucky enough to spend the weekend in Raleigh with my good friend and Creative Team member Laurel Beard!  We were there when the first product launch was revealed!!  It was such a fun time!

I do have to admit that I wasn't sure I was going to jump on the whole bullet journal band wagon, until I watched all of Catherine's videos on her You Tube channel showing how she uses the journal.  I plan on using my journal as a birthday tracker/address book and I will be able to decorate it and personalize it how I want.  I'm SO excited!  

SSSSHHHHH!!!!  I also plan to get my girls each one for Christmas.  They love bullet journals and I know they are going to use it in a completely different way than I use it.  I can't wait to share more.
