Black and Gold Glam

Happy Saturday everyone!
Today I have two cards to share with you inspired by the Black and Gold Glam mood board in the Online Card Class, "In the Mood!"

I used the Text Block: Party Time die by Papertrey Ink.  Cutting in black and gold cardstock then used the inlaid die cutting technique on the balloons.  I wanted to let the die shine so I just added it to a piece of white cut using the Sunshine Layers die by Wplus9.  These cards were pretty quick and easy to put together.

I am adding these over at Seize the Birthday.  No topping for me.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!
Hope the sun is shining where you are today.

Hi everyone!
This week's StampNation challenge is Christmas in July.
We are pulling out our favorite Christmas stamp sets and creating a card using a non-traditional color pallet inspired by summer.

Here's a peek at the DT's cards....

Last year we went to the beach for vacation.

This year we are going to California!  WOOT!!!

We would love to have you join us on our virtual vacation!

Tis' the Season

Hi everyone!
Sharing my card inspired by Kimberly's amazing card over at Muse: Christmas Visions.

I was inspired by the navy ornaments and the red woodgrain.  I stamped the ornaments from Clearly Besotted's set, Ornamental Style in Midnight Muse ink.  The base of the card was stamped using the Woodgrain stamp by SU using Pure Poppy ink on Pure Poppy cardstock.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

Merry Monday #166

Hi everyone!
Time for another Merry Monday Challenge.
This week Wendy challenges us to create a Christmas card with a penguin.

I knew I just had to use this adorable penguin from Clearly Whimsy stamps.  I kept my card CAS by adding some snowflake die cuts to help ground my penguin and give a faux embossed look to my card.

Make sure you check out the other DT members cards over at the Merry Monday challenge blog. I hope you will join us!

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

Stamps:  Penguin Fun, Christmas Greetings (Clearly Whimsy)

Happy Anniversary!

Hi everyone!
I am sharing a card I made for my good friend, Maureen & her husband.
I know she received this card already so I can share it here.

I was inspired by the Pink Lemonade mood board in the Online Card Class, "In the Mood!"
There was a little sign in front of jars of Pink Lemonade and I basically copied the sketch using the same colors and frame idea on my card.

I stamped the stripes after cutting out my frame using the Holiday Apertures die from Wplus9.  I created a mask using one of the hearts from the Folk Heart die set.  I then sponged Worn Lipstick distress inks, removed the mask and stamped the sentiment.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!
