LOVE YOU MORE

Hi friends!  Happy Sunday!  I'm sharing another card today using the Making Waves Background stamp released as part of Catherine's Waves of Happiness release.  I stamped the background stamp onto a piece of white card stock and then embossed using clear embossing powder.  I then grabbed some Copic markers and colored in the image.

I die cut a circle from my card front and attached that over top the colored background image.  I added a white heat embossed sentiment on a strip of black card stock.  The sentiment is from Catherine's One Liners Sentiments set.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!

Hi friends!  Happy Friday!  I've got a card to share today using the leftovers from the card I posted yesterday.  I love getting two cards from one technique piece.  I used the outline of the Cleo slimline die as a guide to glue the inside pieces onto my card front.  I only used the scallops and left the circles in the center off to be able to stamp my sentiment.  You could have added the circles and then white heat embossed the sentiment on a strip of black card stock and adhered that over the circles, but I decided to leave them off.

The sentiment is from Catheirne's Thoughtful Phrases stamp set.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CLEO SLIMLINE!

Hi friends!  Happy Thursday!  I've got a fun birthday card to share today using the Cleo Slimline Die on an A2 sized card.  I love using my slimline dies on these cards as well as slimline.  Helps you get more use from them.  I started my card by ink blending some colors onto a piece of card stock in rainbow order.  I then used the die and kept all the inside pieces for another card which I will share soon.  I then die cut another piece using just white card stock and embossed the inside pieces using Gold embossing glitter.

After embossing the pieces I adhered them back into the die and added a sentiment from Happy Birthday Many Ways from Catherine.  I embossed that using the same embossing glitter I used on the die cut pieces.

ENJOY THE LITTLE THINGS

Hi friends!  Happy Monday!  Sorry, it's been a little quiet on my blog.  Last week I went on a road trip with my mom and daughter.  We went out to Grand Rapids, Michigan for my daughters college orientation.  It was a great trip!  While we were in Grand Rapids I was lucky enough to meet up & have a lovely dinner with Michele from I Card Everyone!  I was so thankful to be able to meet her in person, she is the sweetest.  We have been blogging friends for a LONG time.  I'm also thankful she will be close to where my daughter is going to college.

Ok, onto my card.  I used the Cleo Slimline die and the Puffin Party Stamp set as well as a couple new ink colors.  I ink blended Bay Breeze & Cove Blue onto my card base, masking off the bottom to keep it white.  I also flicked some water over top to get some water marks.  I then adhered the Cleo Slimline die cut over top and added a puffin and sentiment embossed in white on black cardstock.

I finished off the card with some black and white twine.

COLOR HUES #18 - PURPLE & TEAL

Hi friends!  Welcome to my post for Color Hues Challenge #18!  This time we are challenging you to use Purple & Teal for your card or project.

I pulled out an oldie but goodie stamp set from Papertrey ink called Building Blocks to create my CAS card today.  I used colored card stock to die cut the sentiment strips and then stamped the sentiments onto each strip.

It was hard to capture the dry embossing on the background of this card, I used the Dotted Swirls Debossing cover die from Altenew to give the background some texture.  It looks amazing in real life.
