Happiest wishes on your Birthday!

Hi friends!  There is a Constellations: Trendy Star Power challenge over at Moxie Fab World.  I love stars and have been using them a ton lately.  I especially love the stitched stars from Lil' Inkers.

I used some black glitter paper I found at my LSS.  The colorful stripes are created with Scor-tape and glitter.  The sentiment is embossed with black embossing powder.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

Happy Birthday

Hi friends.  I am playing along with this week's sketch over at My Favorite Things.  I love it's CAS-ness (I love this word but not sure if it is one).  My sistah's over at StampNation completely understood this word and I am sure most of you will too.  ;)

After I finished this card, I thought it would make a great masculine card.  For the background piece I used Pumpkin Pie ink on my embossing folder and ran it through.  Love that look and I don't do it enough.

Another card while I had the same supplies out for Fusion Challenge.

As you can see from my card, I used both the sketch and the photo.  :)  So happy to see this challenge back again and hope I will have a chance to play again.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

Dazzling Diva Challenge #6

Hi friends.  This week's Dazzling Diva Challenge over at Monica's blog (Add a Little Dazzle) is to incorporate stitching onto your card.

I was not only inspired by the photo but also by Laura Bassen's awesome card here.  I used the Scarlet red metal sheet, embossed it with the vintage wallpaper embossing folder by SU!   I used the heart framelits on my vellum cardstock to make my window.  The sentiment is embossed with white embossing powder.

I wasn't sure if I would be able to stitch through the metal sheets so I tested it on a small scrap piece and it worked just like stitching on paper.  Cool!!!  The vellum is stitched onto the metal sheet and the top layer.  I also used my Lil' Inkers stitched rectangle for more stitching elements on my card base.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

"Spotted!"

Hi friends.  Have you seen the new feature over on the Simon Says Stamp blog called "Spotted!"?  Today's card is a CASE of this card which is being featured today over on the Simon Says Stamp Blog.  When I received the email from Stephanie asking me if it would be ok if they featured my "you" card on their blog I, of course, said YES right away and decided to make a Christmas card using a different Simon Says stamp set.   The set is called Christmas.  I am truly honored to have my card featured.  Make sure you hop on over to the Simon Says Stamp blog to see the other amazing cards that were featured.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day.
