COLOR HUES #48 - NAVY & LIME GREEN

Hi friends!  Welcome to my post for Color Hues Challenge #48!  

We have a fun challenge starting today, and it just so happens to be our 2nd Birthday here at Color Hues. Woohoo!!!!  These two years have sure flown by for all of us!

 To join us in our celebration...

 We have asked the ladies over at our sister challenge Seize the Birthday to make a birthday card using the same Hues of Color.  The bigger the party the better, wouldn't you say?  

So the change to this challenge is to not only use the Colors below, but also to Make a Birthday card to help us CELEBRATE!

Let's go see the Hues of Colors DT member Sheri has chosen for our inspiration this time around, and the wonderful Birthday cards the DT has made!

I pulled some navy & lime green patterned papers to create this birthday card.  I die cut the balloon die from the lime green card stock.  I added a strip of navy card stock to my card base and then popped up the white card stock pieces.

I adhered the balloon and the sentiment.  I added some twine to the bottom of the balloon and some sequins for a bit of shine.
