COLOR HUES #40 - BLUE & TAN (LIGHT BROWN)

Hi friends!  Welcome to my post for Color Hues Challenge #40!  This time we are challenging you to use Blue & Tan (Light Brown) for your card or project.

I used direct to paper technique with Catherine's inks to create my own light blue card stock.  I then used the Cross your X's Cover Plate Die to die cut from the card stock.  I then cut out the diamond from the center of the die cut cover plate piece.  I die cut the Stitch your Diamonds cover plate die from some kraft (light brown) card stock and added that behind the diamond and trimmed off the excess.

I added the diamond over top my card base that was dry embossed with the Cross Your X's cover plate die.  I added a white heat embossed sentiment onto a strip of black card stock and adhered that to my card.  I think these colors work great for masculine cards.  I can't wait to see how you use these colors.

I hope you'll be sure to check out the fabulous designs from the team & play along with us.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!
