This week is Week #2 of the StampNation "Summer Splash" event!  This week I used the prompt "Fish & Just Blue" for my project creation.

I used the Fly Daddy stamp set, the Dotted Circle dies a sentiment from the Birthday Cake Remix stamp set & come Crater Lake Sequins.

HEY THERE FRIEND & MEMORIAL DAY SALE!!!

 

Happy Friday friends!  I'm sharing a fun slimline card today using Catherine's Rainbow Slimline Die (which is on SALE for $14.97 this weekend)!!!  I started this card by masking off the two rainbows in the corners so I could use the Melon Edge die as a stencil to create some light clouds on my background.  I love using this die this way.

I then used different patterned papers from Catherine in rainbow colors to create the two rainbows.

I added the Hey there friend die cut over top in the center of the card and that finishes off this card.  As I mentioned above this slimline cover plate die is on sale but that's not all.  All of Catherine's slimline products are on sale this weekend!

Hi friends!  Happy Wednesday!  I'm back today with another card using the Summer Nights Collection from Catherine Pooler Designs.  I'm using the Night in Flight, Round About Messages stamp sets and the fun Round About Dies.

I started my card by ink swiping some green inks onto a piece of card stock and then spritzing it with water to get some cool texture.  I then stamped one of the moths from the Night in Flight stamp set onto the card stock and die cut it with one of the circle dies.  I layered that on top of another circle die with the dots.

I added some details to the moth with my embossing pen and some Disco Ball embossing glitter.  I stamped one of the sentiments onto the card base and that finishes off this birthday card.

SUMMER SPLASH ON STAMPNATION!!!

 

Hi friends!  We are kicking off the summer season over on StampNation with a fun event called Summer Splash!  Starting today and continuing for 5 weeks, there will be three weekly themes or techniques to inspire your Summer Card Making.  Each Monday there will be a new post with cards shared by our Brand Ambassadors with inspiration for you.

Today's theme's or techniques were Sea Creatures, Water Technique, waves.  Here's the card I created using waves as my theme.

I'VE BEEN THINKING ABOUT YOU SLIMLINE

 

Hi friends!  I created a slimline card using the Marquise Slimline Cover Plate Die & the Night in Flight Stamp set.  I did some ink swiping on my card base before adhering the cover plate die.  I love the bit of color this adds to the background.  I then used direct to paper on some card stock and stamped and white heat embossed the moth image onto each color and die cut using the coordinating die.

I adhered the moths to the card using dimensional adhesive and then white heat embossed a sentiment onto a banner die.

COLOR HUES #41 - AQUA & RED

Hi friends!  Welcome to my post for Color Hues Challenge #41!  This time we are challenging you to use Aqua & Red for your card or project.

I pulled out some patterned papers in Aqua & Red to create my card today.  I also used the Halfsies Diamond Die from The Greetery.  I love this die and need to use it more.  I also used the Natural Flourishes stamp set to stamp the flourish onto the red patterned paper.

After stamping the flourish in midnight onto the patterned paper I die cut it and adhered it to my card front.  I stamped and white heat embossed the sentiment onto a sentiment banner die and added a few Crater Lake Sequins to finish this card.

Hi friends!  Happy Saturday!  I've got a simple card today using the Night in Flight stamp set from Catherine's Summer Night's collection.  I stamped one of the moths in three colors down the side of my panel.  I stamped the sentiment using Midnight ink and then added some Kings Canyon sequins to add some bling.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Hi friends!  I've got another card to share today using the Camping Lantern Die from Catherine Pooler Designs.  I die cut it from white card stock and then swiped my ink pad over top to add color.  I love that by doing this you get spots that are lighter and darker.  I trimmed off the handle to give a little different look and so it would fit better on my card layout.

I used a piece of patterned paper from the Through the Woods paper pack and die cut a frame using the Scallops & Dots dies.  I added a sentiment from the Natural Flourishes stamp set.  I think this makes a great masculine birthday card.

I used direct to paper to create my colored card stock and then stamped one of the moths in midnight and die cut it.  I used the Round about dies to die cut an off set circle from the colored card stock and stamped the sentiment.  To add a bit more texture I used the dots dies from the Round About die set.  I love the look.

SUMMER NIGHTS COLLECTION AVAILABLE TODAY!!!

 

Hi friends!  Today's release day for Catherine's Summer Nights Collection!  The release goes live in the shop this morning May 4th at 9 AM EST.  The new products are linked at the end of this post.

I love when you can create two cards with one background piece.  I started by using the ink colors in the photo and simply swiping the ink pads across the piece of card stock.  I then used the Capture the Flag cover plate die.  I adhered the colored pieces with dimensional adhesive onto my card front.  I simply stamped one of the winged creatures using black ink on white card stock and a black and white heat embossed sentiment.

The second card uses just the outline that was left over.  I used the cover plate die and die cut it from white card stock and adhered those pieces back in.  This time I white heat embossed the winged creature onto black card stock and stamped the sentiment using midnight ink on white card stock.

I used the Capture the Flag cover plate die to emboss my background and then added the amazing Camping Lantern Die embossed using the Metallic Copper Sparkle Embossing Glitter.  I love the look this embossing glitter gives the lantern. 

I love you can make the lantern into a shaker!  So fun!  I used the King's Canyon sequin mix to the shaker.  These colors coordinate beautifully with the embossing glitter.
