PLAYING CARDS WITH MICHELE!!!

Hi everyone,

I'm so happy to be Playing Cards with Friends today, especially with my dear friend, Michele from I Card Everyone.

Michele is not only talented and creative, she has a great sense of humor. You don't know how many times her funny card sentiments (all original, by the way) have made me laugh and brightened my day.  I had the wonderful honor of meeting Michele in person and sharing a delicious meal with her while visiting Michigan this summer.  She is as sweet as sweet can be!  I am so thankful for the opportunity to finally get to meet Michele in person and only wish it was for longer and that we could have crafted together.  Maybe someday that will still happen!

I'm honored and grateful for this invitation to play cards with you, Michele!

Here are the parameters for today's play:

All the Colors of Fall!

No Pumpkins, at all!

Yet, when we meet, Halloween’s always a Treat!

And here's my card:

I created a super simple card today using some gorgeous fall colors.  I stamped a background stamp onto white card stock and then ink blended the colors.  I then used a circle die to cut a portion of the background.  I cut the circle in half so I had a spot for my sentiment.  Super fun and simple of create!

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

  2. Popped over from Michele and I'd say you did the challenge proud. Those colors are scrumptious. The stamp has tons of movement, just like swirling leaves. Splitting the circle to accomodate the sentiment was a brilliant idea.

  4. Michele is funny and oh so sweet and how fun that you got to meet up with her in real life over the summer Kristie! I can imagine it wasn't enough time. I love her and haven't met her in person, but I feel like I know her. lol I am so loving your card! It does have all the feel of Autumn without having anything related to Autumn on it. Such a unique stamp you used, perfect to cut it in half and place the sentiment in the center. Hugs, Brenda
