HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Hi friends!  Happy Tuesday!  I've got a birthday card to share with you today using the gorgeous Peony Cover Plate Die.  I love the many different uses of this die.  For this card I die cut it from white card stock and left it on my cutting plate so that when I flipped it over all the pieces would stay inside the die.  While it was upside down, I taped the pieces on the back that I wanted to stay inside the die and removed those that I didn't want.  I also trimmed off the second leaf on the left to make more room for my sentiment.

I glued the flower down onto my kraft card stock and stamped the sentiment using midnight ink.  I also added some shimmer to the flower, which you can kinda see in this photo.  The shimmer is all over the flower, just hard to capture.
