Hi friends!  Sharing yet another Christmas card using the Retro Star cover plate die by Catherine Pooler.  I decided I wanted some sparkle behind the die cut.  This is so gorgeous in person.  It's hard to capture in a photo.

You can see it a little better in this close up.  Isn't it pretty?!  I didn't want to cover up a lot of the glitter so I die cut a circle and silver embossed a sentiment from Papertrey Ink and then added some silver nuvo drops around the circle.  I need to get some red and green glitter paper, can you believe I don't have any in my stash.  This card would look great with those colors too.

  1. What a stunning card Kristie - the white die cut over the sparkly blue is so dramatic, as is the contrast between the angular lines of the die and the circle.

  2. Love the sparkle behind the stars! Thanks for joining us at Happy Little Stampers Christmas Challenge.

  3. Thanks for sharing your fantastic project with us in the Happy Little Stampers November "Anything Goes With Dies" challenge and we hope to see you again next month!
