Hi friends! Sharing yet another Christmas card using the Retro Star cover plate die by Catherine Pooler. I decided I wanted some sparkle behind the die cut. This is so gorgeous in person. It's hard to capture in a photo.
You can see it a little better in this close up. Isn't it pretty?! I didn't want to cover up a lot of the glitter so I die cut a circle and silver embossed a sentiment from Papertrey Ink and then added some silver nuvo drops around the circle. I need to get some red and green glitter paper, can you believe I don't have any in my stash. This card would look great with those colors too.

ReplyDeleteWhat a stunning card Kristie - the white die cut over the sparkly blue is so dramatic, as is the contrast between the angular lines of the die and the circle.
