Hi everyone!  Welcome to the All the Trimmings release blog hop for Catherine Pooler Designs.    The Creative Team is sharing projects to introduce you to the new items.  Make sure you check out the Instagram Hop >>HERE<<  and the video hop >>HERE<<

These new products will be available in the store for StampNation Members today at 3pm and opening to the public tomorrow.

This release is HUGE!!!  Look at everything being released.

Products included:

  • Samba Ink
  • Mardis Gras Ink
  • Suede Shoes Ink
  • Peach Love and Doves Background Stamp
  • Woodgrain Background Stamp (stamp on Snowglobe for a wooden base)
  • Flourish Background Stamp
  • Seasonal Sentiment and Borders Stamp Set
  • Nested Label Dies
  • Holiday Charm Stamp Set and Dies
  • Santa Approved Stamp Set and Dies
  • Holly and Berries Cover Plate Die
  • Snowglobe Dies (base is scored to give it rounded dimension and the circles are layering sizes for our regular circle dies)
  • Love, Doves and Poinsettias Patterned Paper
  • Aspen Sequin Mix (white with snowflakes and a pop of blue)
  • Glacier Bay Sequin Mix (lots of blue and silver)
  • Vegas, Baby! (GOLD!)

  • My first cards feature the Flourish Background Stamp and each of the new ink colors.

First one using Suede Shoes ink.

    Second using Samba ink.

And last, but certainly not least, Mardi Gras!

I created all of these cards the same way.  I white heat embossed the background onto piece of card stock and then masked off the sides using post it tape.  I then sponged the colors onto the open space creating a colored rectangle when removing the tape.  I then used the Noel die cut from the Snow Globe dies and the label from the Santa Approved die set for my sentiment and added some accents using two stamps from the Holiday Charm stamp set and the Funky Flakes Fri-Dies from the previously released Holiday Magic Collection.

My next card features the Peace Love and Doves Background Stamp.

I heat embossed the background stamp onto white card stock using Metallic Gold Sparkle embossing glitter.  I added some black accents by filling in some dots using my black pen.  I then white heat embossed the sentiment from Seasonal Sentiments and Borders stamp set on black card stock.  I attached the sentiment to my card using dimensional adhesive.
