Hi everyone!
Long time no "see" & Happy New Year!
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with your family and friends. I took some time off to enjoy my family. My oldest son Noah is going to be leaving next month for Navy boot camp. :( Though I am sad at the thought of him leaving, I am so proud of him.
I found out that even though I made Christmas cards throughout the year last year, that I was still short. I mail LOTS of Christmas cards. So, I am getting a good head start on my 2017 Christmas cards by playing along with Merry Monday.
I pulled out Winter Wreath by Avery Elle, Ornamental Christmas & All the Christmas You'll Ever Need by Lil' Inker Designs. I kept this card pretty clean & simple. The angel is die cut using the matching dies and popped up using foam tape. I did create 5 cards using this same design, but stepping up the next two cards a little bit.
Thank you for visiting and have a great day!
Stamps: Ornamental Christmas & All the Christmas You'll Ever Need (Lil' Inker)
Ink: Pure Poppy (Papertrey Ink), Smoky Slate (SU), Grass Skirt & Midnight (Catherine Pooler Designs)
Paper: Pure Poppy (PTI)
These are awesome, Kristie! That Lil Inker angel is so cool. :) And best of luck to your son!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards Kristie! I really like the one with soft grey wreath - beautiful!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful start to your 2017 collection, Kristie! [thank you for saving me on your list?] xx Happy New Year!

What a fun little angel! I haven't seen this one before! Navy boot camp! So impressive. Still, it's hard to watch our little boys grow up so fast!
ReplyDeleteSweet angels! Love the red and white with those little pops of green and gray. It's hard when our 'babies' start leaving the nest, but I will commend your son in his choice to serve his country in the USN. Please give him my thanks, and I will pray that God keeps him safe from all harm. Happy New Year. Bev
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year Kristie!! I so thank you for the card you sent to me, I am hanging my head as I didn't get all my cards out. But I plan on getting a head start too, all my addresses are written down and I should be good to go for next year. But I hope you will forgive me from this year. I love your cards and you have inspired me to use this wreath stamp for an idea I got looking at your beautiful cards. Hugs, Brenda
