Hi everyone!
Time for another Merry Monday Challenge.
This week Kathy challenges us to create a snowy Christmas card.
I decided to stamp snowflakes all over the background of my card and create a faux shaker card. My good friend Maureen creates the most beautiful faux shaker cards so I wanted to try my hand at it. I am pretty happy with how it turned out.
Make sure you check out the other DT members cards over
at the Merry Monday challenge blog.
Thank you for visiting and have a great day!
So pretty. Love your faux shaker card Kristie and the pink background.
ReplyDeleteJust love the mini snowflakes in your pink background, Kristie, and what a fun faux shaker card! Thanks for the Merry Monday inspiration!!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cool! I was so surprized when I read that it is a 'faux shaker card'...such a clever idea with less fuss! Love the non-traditional brilliant pink!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful sentiment die, Kristie! Love the color and the background! Hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous die cut, Kristie! Pretty in Pink, and looks like the perfect shaker to me - faux, or no!
ReplyDelete=]
Love your non-traditionally coloured snow card - it's wonderful!
ReplyDeleteA faux shaker card. YES! I love it. What a good idea. Pretty card. I was working on re-organizing my dies today. Out with the old and in with the new. I noticed my MFT snowflakes and fusion dies were missing. So I was glad to see a Christmas card and I had to hunt down girlfriends to see who had them.
ReplyDeletePretty in pink! Love this color for Christmas, and I'd decorate the house in this (and lime green) if DH wouldn't object so loudly! Love the idea of a faux shaker, and the subtle snowflakes on your background and those pretty sequins are perfect! Wonderful card. Bev
ReplyDeleteWow - love the colour and the faux shaker card - I think I could make one of those!! Stunning card Kristie

totally fabulous.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty Kristie. Since I am so bad creating shaker cards maybe I need to check out Maureen's technique. Hope you have a great week.
ReplyDeleteLOVE that this is hot pink! All my actual shaker cards end up being faux ones because the stuff always gets stuck. Maybe I should just make them that way on purpose!!!
ReplyDeleteAt first I thought it was a shaker card! Love this pretty pink faux shaker!
ReplyDeletePerfect beautiful sentiment for our challenge and love the pop of pink!
ReplyDeleteI so love pink Christmas cards! And this shaker one is stunning my friend. Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteFabulous card! At first glance I thought it really was a shaker card! Love the background & stunning pink & white.
ReplyDeleteSeeing as it's finally gotten nice enough here to wear my spring shoes, I'm struggling a little with the sentiment on your card... ;) It's super pretty, Kristie! Wonderful shaker!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shaker card Kristie, the colours are fabulous!
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty card Kristie. I can't believe you stamped all those perfect wee snowflakes on the background!! I love the effect of the faux shaker.
